Raised in France, Rosa was born to a French welder & Filipino immigrant. She had dreams of attending a prestigious university to study physics ingrained in every fiber of her being from a young age. Itโs what her parents wanted for their only child. โAnd happens to be a reoccurring theme in her life. She had a pretty normal childhood, both parents always hovering, always watchful, enrolled in French ballet by the age of eight, and still practices barre to this day. The life of a dancer is short-lived, a fact her parents made clear which was why they pushed for a stem major. Something that she could actually support herself with. For upper secondary school, Rosa was sent to finishing school, a strictly all-girl boarding school in her local area to learn etiquette before departing for university. Most of her time was spent glorifying old vintage films & learning new languages.
Thankfully sheโd been accepted to NYU to study English literature w/ a minor in fashion in the United States, far away from her helicopter parents where for the first time in her life, she was completely on her own. She felt as though the move was opportunity to really invest in herself & stopped going by Rosa. Now, she prefers to be called Mimi or her full name: Rosamie. Her first semester was fine. Not particularly a highlight of her life since plenty of booze and men were involved but she rubbed elbows with a grad who happened to be an investment banker on Wall Street. They started off as an occasional hook-up that progressed to a whirlwind romance and ended in bitterness when she discovered she wasnโt his only muse. In the end, it turned out beneficial since her connections landed her a job in the lit department.
She currently lives on the upper east side (?) Probably a posh part of the city.

Doesnโt put much stock in friendships nor relationships & much rather keep a crowd around where its mostly surface-level interactions. If youโre pretty she 100% wants to be your friend. Romantic wise? They have to be short & quick or else sheโll get bored.
