“Hello, brother.” Damon didn’t even look over at Stefan. He kept his eyes up on the ceiling. “I left Elena, sort of. I told her to be free I guess. To stop waiting around for me.” He spoke quietly, as he laid perfectly still. He didn’t know how Stefan would feel about this. After all, if Damon had realized this all sooner it might have been his brother who got Elena in the end. “I don’t know where to go from here.”

His hand ran over her side while his fingers searched for her soft skin before he begand to gently drag his nails over her skin upwards with his lips now movong over her shouler nudging her dress strap off the shoulder to expose more flesh.

Caroline began to calm down when he took her hands. “I don’t want you to have to make things up to me Stefan. I still love you, god do I. Just think a little.” She said softly, as she looked back to the ferris wheel and gave him a smile. “Only if you kiss me at the top.” She said a bit warmer now, as she would at least try to salvage the night between them. 

Stefan nodded his head. “Perhaps I have spent a little to much time with Damon... he seems to think before he speaks on times..” he admitted. Stefan watched the female and let out a cheesy smile before nodding his head. “You do not even have to ask that.” he stated. Just getting the wheel to go slower than usual was the only thing to do now.

“A bad one.” She snapped but as he was right there next to her again she sighed. “Honey you don’t bring in a history lesson when your wife is offering herself up in lingerie and especially not a comment that kind of makes you sound like a dick. That is not going to get you any lovings any faster.” Caroline was trying so hard to still be intimate with him, she knew he didn’t realize it but most of the time she just wanted to push him away and the days she did feel like she was good enough, well she knew he could make stupid comments sometimes.

Stefan nodded his head. “Yes, a bad one..” he repeated. His wife was right. He made a reckless comment which she had every right to be upset about.He took her hands and nodded his head. “I am so sorry for saying something like that, can I make it up to you?” he asked. He kept his eyes on hers and looked up to the ferris wheel. “I don’t remember the last time you and I went on a ferris wheel...” he admitted.  

Caroline raised a brow at her husband. “If you were anything like the 1800′s version of yourself honey, I’d so with hold you. So don’t give that that sweetie, because if I wanted to withhold from you I would.” Caroline wasn’t about the sexist bullshit of history, she rested a hand on her hip and turned with a huff as she walked to the ferris wheel. 

Stefan watched as she walked away before moving after her. “Hey...I have never been one of those men... I was just making a comment... I would never make you do anything you didn’t want to, Caroline..” he admitted as he caught up to her. “I’m sorry if my comment offended you.”

“I think our kids are old enough to not need to run into our room.” She countered, it wasn’t like they had babies running around the house anymore their kids were self-sufficient for the most part. “Hmm you hope, better play your cards right Mr. Salvatore. I don’t give this out easy.” She countered as she smiled. “I’d love that.”

Stefan laughed. “Okay...I know what you mean...” he smiled before nodding his head. “Oh, you got me wound up now...so you can’t go back on that... although luckily for you I am not one to keep the values of my time..” he pointed out at the time when men were able to have sex with their wife even if their wife did not want it. “Then I will do it,”

“Oh boy were going to make a sticky mess by the sounds of it.” She laughed shaking her head. “My husband is full of himself tonight.” She turned in his arms to kiss him softly. “Go on the ferris wheel with me?” She questioned biting her bottom lip cutely. 

“Well lucky for us, I have the room sound proofed and the kids know not to come in the room...” he teased. “He is...but tonight my wife will be full of me too..” he teased. He kissed her softly. “Of course...I may even compel to try and get the wheel to go slow so we can enjoy the view..”

Caroline squealed as she felt Stefans arms wrap around her. “You are something else, but how about this when we make it home I’ll put on a new number I got and you can do whatever you want with me.” She assured him as she smiled and then laughed as she popped a few into his mouth. “It’s good huh?” She was just enjoying herself for once and for a few moments.

Stefan paused for a moment before nodding his head as he cleared the thought from his head. “Okay... I’ll grab some squirty cream and toffee sauce on the way home..” he teased. he nodded his head as he chewed the food his wife placed in his mouth. “It’s lovely... When I see you at home I expect that now you know...” he teased again. 

“You look like you’re brooding again,” Bonnie joked, linking her arm through Stefan’s as she walked beside him. “Do I need to call Caroline over her so she can drag you off to have fun?”

Stefan looked to the female with a small smile. “I’m sure she would love to drag me off... I was just thinking about when the kids were all little..” he admitted to the Bennett. 

Noah had been searching the carnival for a good half hour before spotting the familiar face of her mother’s best friend in the crowd. Her approach was quick, leaving her standing before him in a matter of seconds. “Stefan! You wouldn’t happen to know where my mother is, would you? She said to meet her here, but I haven’t been able to find her anywhere.”

Stefan watched the female approach him as he snapped out of his thought before smiling to her. “Noah... hey... uh no I haven’t seen your mother, although I’m sure this place would be much more bearable without Caroline around if I had your mother here to entertain me.” he laughed. “If you find her, send her my way once you have finished.
