“Really?” the tom asked as he switched his green gaze from the moon to the other cat, tail flicking curiously as he stood beside her. Moonlight flowed in from the cave ceiling, flooding the typically dark cave with a silvery light. It wasn’t everyday Fallen Leaves found another stumbling around in the darkness that was the tunnel system he inhabited, and since the she-cat appeared lost, he’d decided to come out of hiding (having watched her for quite a while) and offer to help her find a way out. “Well, I suppose it is quite pretty. And, uh, sorry for not saying my name earlier. I’m Fallen Leaves.” 

❝What  a  pleasure  it  is  to  make  your  acquaintance,  Fallen  Leaves,❞  the  motherly  cat  replied  in  her  constant  air  of  grace.  Being  lost  made  for  a  truly  frightful  situation  to  be  in,  but  to  be  greeted  by  a  friendly  face  was  such  a  calming  relief.

❝   ‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒   𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋   ?      Where   is   Angel   ?   ❞            Irin   asks,      in   the   same   tone   as   one   would   ask   a   dog   where   its   human   is.      They   scratch   behind   one   of   those   floppy   ears   with   a   long   pink   claw.      How   charming,      the   little   pig   !!      He   loves   unconditionally   in   spite   of   everything.            ❝   Do   you   know   where   Angel   is   ?   ❞

Angel!!  Nuggets  seems  to  get  more  excited  as  they  ask  him  after  his  beloved  master,  doing  a  spin  with  that  extra  energy.  He  knows  Angel!!  He  knows  where  Angel  is!!  Nuggets  scurries  away  a  couple  of  steps,  then  turns  his  head  to  make  sure  that  Irin  is  following.
