Today marks 5 Years Ago to the Day, Monday May 11th, that my phone rang at 7:50am, and the worse day of my life began. I had just seen him on that Saturday, and literally was headed to pick him up at 11am that morning. I shared this last year, but one of the last things my Dad said to me on that Sunday was in Farsi, βman bayett hamehsee hastamβ... which translates to βI am Always With Youβ in English. He said it to me so many times, I remember it βmade an impactβ on me, how many times he said it. Maybe he knew, who knows. I had that engraved on his tombstone, and his words have rang truer than anything else in my life. But today I smile, because I was a lucky son. I had a great Dad. My Brother Bob and I were truly blessed. I truly wish you were here, but I know you are near. Thank You For Being Our Dad! β€οΈ (at El Toro Memorial Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CADw3uKp3rt/?igshid=15pkgkrnaf3fw
