- BSF!Michael who constantly fidgets with his fingers because he's nervous and doesn't know how to act around you

- BSF!Michael who looks at you with PURE love in his eyes and doesn't know how obvious it is not until his brothers points it out, resulting him into wearing his sunglasses almost all the time when his brothers are around. (they made of him even more because of that)

- BSF!Michael who stares at you whenever he gets the chance to, it doesn't matter when, where or how. As long as you're within his sight that man would stare into your soul like he has never seen a woman before

- BSF!Michael who absolutely wholeheartedly gets jealous whenever you talk to guys and WILL attempt to be nonchalant about it—except for the fact that it clearly doesn't work considering that he ends up glaring at the dude for god knows how long

- BSF!Michael who always invites you into his studio each time he has the chance to because he loves leaning into the comfort of your presence

- BSF!Michael whose fingers would linger a little longer when he hands you something, brushing his fingers against yours for a moment of physical touch

- BSF!Michael who remembers every single details that you tell him and would act clueless whenever he does something that makes you go "How'd you know?"

- BSF!Michael who would pace back and fourth to the point where he's gonna create a hold in the floor because of how hesitant he gets before calling you, afraid that he's gonna fumble his sentences and start rambling like there's no tomorrow

You met him after your first Grammys performance, that's all it was supposed to be ━ a congratulations. Instead, it became twenty years of almosts, with crossed paths, late-night phone calls, lingering glances, separate lives and feelings neither of you seemed able to leave behind. While the world watched him become a legend, the two of you drifted in and out of each other’s lives, always finding your way back somehow. Through world tours, heartbreaks, marriages, children, scandals, triumphs, and the passing of time, there was always something unfinished between you.

He kept asking.

You kept saying no.

Until one day, with the world threatening to come apart around him, the answer finally changed.

I'm sure Lucas would not appreciate being patronized by Billy like that, but maybe it would be one of Billy's first steps to working on a normal relationship between them and fixing his mess. I am very confident he would want to.

His skin was prickling under the warm sun. Red and pink patterns flashed and floated before his closed eyes. Light breeze stroked his nose and made a single curl fallen on his forehead flutter and tickle him. Rythmic with occasional disruptions syncopations of waves lulled his thoughts, making his eyelids heavy and unwilling to open — when he tried, bitter sweat hiding in the fluffy lashes bit him and made him blink several times or wipe it off. Everything smelled of sunscreen, sea and warm sand.

Sudden cool wetness touched his cheekbone, making him flinch and lift himself on his elbows with an angry glare.
