Saw an animation template on tiktok and got possessed. Drew this and had to share the wealth immediately. Still rough sketches.

Kryoz: "Hey, it's better than buying me a ring when we aren't getting married yet."

Smii7y: "You can say that now, yet once we're married things will be a lot more expensive."

Fluff:

John fell first, Smitty fell harder.

Their confession is extremely unplanned, disorganised and awkward. It would be along the lines of, "Hey... so... I actually really like you... I don't know when that happened, ask Matt or Grizzy, they could pull up a few texts... anyway, do you want to—can you stop looking at me like that?"

Both are extremely physically affectionate with each other, but John would initiate more public display of affection than Smitty. Smitty acts as if he is irritated by John's insistence, but deep down, he loves it (if he can forget that they were in front of a crowd.)

Their first attempt at cuddling was filled with embarrassment. They'd smack pillows on one another while finding a comfortable position that wasn't "too intimate." Eventually, they become tired from fighting each other and fall asleep (they did not cuddle.)

Angst:

Both are extremely argumentative. On normal days, it would be passed around as normal banter, but it can transpire into something extremely heated. Smitty is the more hot-headed one of the two, but it is only because John keeps his emotions to himself until he pops open like a champagne bottle.

Extreme jealousy. Smitty is jealous because he is afraid that John would leave him. John is jealous because he feels as though he is not good enough for Smitty and feels as though every person Smitty talks to is better than him. Smitty's jealousy is more "visible" (crying, pulling John away) while John's is more "subtle" (dirty glances, drowns himself in conversations with his other friends.) They are both improving on this (poorly, because a part of them enjoys the rush of knowing the other feels such intense emotions until they boil over, and they have trouble healthily managing their emotions.)

On their worst days, they can't take a break from their relationship. They are too dependent on one another to try to separate. Even if they physically distanced themselves, they would send one text to each other, then another, then another, thinking, "one more wouldn't hurt." Nothing was solved in the end.
