I am a normal person who understands thought crimes are not real, fiction is not reality, and people can read/write/enjoy whatever they want as long as it’s fiction and no one in real life is harmed. I don’t have to like it, because I know how to mute, block and scroll past what I don’t want to see. Overall I think labels are childish, but by definition I am proship and profic. I am also against censorship.
And if you (general you) shame or harass real people over fiction, you’re a bully and this blog is not a safe place for you.
Someone to come home to. Someone who waits for you to slip off your shoes and throw your keys in the little dish by the front door. Someone that's ready to receive you into their arms when you sink into them on the sofa and cover you with your favorite blanket. Who warms the house with the smell of your favorite meal, or hands you the first cup of coffee in the morning with just the right amount of cream. Who kisses you when they wake and just before they go to sleep. Who remembers that you don't have to work anymore on Saturday mornings and keeps the house quiet so you can sleep in. Someone who says I love you through gentle brushes of their fingers on your hip as you pass by each other the hallway or by watering those houseplants you keep forgetting about. Someone who loves you with morning breath and bed head as much as they adore you when you're dressed to the nines. Love love love love love. Oh, the quietness of being seen and heard and understood for all that you are.
Shout out to all the Black ppl that can no longer participate directly in the fandom they love because of the stresses of racism 👍🏾 you contain multitudes of value and I'm sorry that the color of your skin and the power of your voice makes people not want to acknowledge that.

the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be a part of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.
I don't participate in ship wars. All pairings/ships are valid. If you really want to play for one side or the other, that's your right, just don't write me anything about it or block me. I don't care how many fans a ship has, what people prefer, or what other artists draw. They're just pictures, calm down.

have they always been so pro censorship?
yes. wattpad has been pro censorship since day one. this part is not new (it's also the reason I left the platform for ao3 several years ago). they only recently updated their rules/terms of service to make them more strict, but it's the same rules. just more harsh.
To all the writers who haven't written in a while. May the right words come to you and may they actually get written down.
