I’m an interior designer, so people assume I always know what a space needs.

Honestly, some days I have no ideas at all.

When that happens, I stop forcing it. I sit by the window, watch the street below, and let New York keep moving without me for a while.

My apartment is small, but with my corgi beside me, it feels like enough.

This is my chill moment.

I used to play soccer whenever I had the chance.

After I injured my leg in the military, that changed. Now I work long shifts at an Amazon warehouse, and some days my leg still bothers me.

When I get home, I put the game on my phone, drop my gloves on the table, and finally let the day slow down.

I may not play much anymore, but I still love watching every minute of it.

Most people are asleep while I’m still on the road.

Some shifts run close to 12 hours. Some weeks, I take only one day off to make a little extra.

When I get home in the morning, I like to sit here for a while. No TV, no rush to sleep—just a little time to slow down.

Work gets tiring, but life can’t be only about work.
