(This is a song Nahi performed at Sax on the Beach tonight. Small edits to make more story like over emotes in game.)
I Can’t Hear a Word You Say by Brenna Whitaker - Music
Nahi steps onto the stage dressed in tall yellow boots, black booty shorts and a yellow tank top. Moving with the beat of the song, her feet doing little tap steps to each side, long curls brushing across the middle of her back with the sway.
Reaching the audience she grins, “He handed me his card and said my name is GobboDoo. Said I'm a talent scout baby, I can do things for you.” Tipping an imaginary hat and bowing slightly. “Said if you hang out with me, baby, and you play your cards right, this may be your lucky night.”
“I said maaannn,” the word drawn out and cut off with power, “I can't hear a word you say.” A smirk played across her lips and she did a grapevine step to the right, “I can't hear a word you say. Your tongues running up a bill your head can’t pay.”
Standing up straight, she pantomimed tightening a tie. “Then he said… you may not know it from the looks of my clothes, but I taught Nat King Greyloc everything he knows.” A smile curved her lips and she winked, blowing a kiss towards Greyloc, “Meet me in the back booth of the big blue bar, I might just decide to make you a recording star.”
Holding up her hand to wave off more comments, “I said maaannn, I can't hear a word you say.” Covering her ears with a teasing smile and roll of her eyes, “I can't hear a word you say. Your tongues running up a bill your head can’t pay. Ayy ayy ayy.” Her shoulders roll in time with the music, hips shifting from side to side, a teasing brightness to her eyes.
Letting the music carry her across the stage and back, jazz hands in full effect, Nahi stops and shakes her head. “Then he said… you see that barber shop, barbecue and bakery? That liquor store and record store?” Nahi points to spots behind the audience, ”They all belong to me. I bought up all the rеal estate in this entire block.” Leaning to the side she gives a cheesy grin and jerks her head to the side, “Come up to my pad I'll show you my Blackwater stock.”
A true smile dances on her lips, leaning back and putting a vocal push behind her next line, “I said maaannn, I can't hear a word you say.” Her fingers waved, “I can't hear a word you say. Your tongues running up a bill your head can’t pay. Ayy ayy ayy.” Gives way to the band, chiming in with a “Beeee bada be da. Boh da be dah. Boh do do do do. Be ba do bahdipah bahdipah boh… yeah.”
(Thank you to everyone that came out to see her perform.)
You were fantastic!!
