Hello Everyone,
I am Mahmoud, 26, a husband and father from Gaza. I got married to my beloved wife, Raneen, just a few months before the war. Together with my mother, Hanan, we had a peaceful life as our family was preparing to welcome its first baby.
But the war has shattered our dreams in unimaginable ways. Our homeβour sanctuaryβwas destroyed, forcing us to flee south in search of safety. Now, we find ourselves living in a tent, a stark contrast to the life we once knew.
In the midst of this turmoil, Raneen gave birth to our precious baby in that tent. The joy of welcoming our child was overshadowed by the harsh reality surrounding us. Instead of stars and dreams, he entered a world filled with chaos and fear, with planes constantly overhead and the specter of hunger looming large.
Besides being constantly endangered, the war has created an endless series of crises for us to struggle, including the lack of food, drinking water, baby milk and even diapers.
It is hard for me as a father to cope with this reality. I want my kid to grow up in a better environment. I want to give him a better future. That's why we decided to relocate and start over elsewhere. Yet, to evacuate Gaza through Rafah crossing, the only passage out, we need to pay a huge sum, amounting to 10,000 USD per person.
I humbly ask for your help. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a profound difference in our lives and give us a chance at survival and a brighter future. Together, we can turn our hopes into reality.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Warm regards,
Mahmoud
