Here's a tag game I thought of.

If your original work was turned into a movie, which OC would be the hardest to play and why?

I'm listing off a few from my books.

Changing Waters

The actual character that I want to use for this can't be used because they're a character who isn't in book 1 (and you're getting no spoilers from me!) So, a runner-up will be King Nikolaus. Why? Because the actor has a lot of conflicting personality traits that he has to showcase. He's got to be bumbling but not dumb; insecure but entitled; inept but threatening; patient but a loose cannon, etc. Comically enough, the other character I wanted to talk about is someone I actually think is pretty similar to Nik in a lot of ways. For the day when this becomes a movie (manifesting that!), good luck to the actor! You're gonna need it!

(Skipping Greek Skits-ology because the short stories don't give anybody enough time to be particularly wild.)

2. Mind of a Pirate

Lesia Hunte. Which might be me shooting myself in my own foot since she's the star...but it's still true in my opinion. Again, it comes down to having a lot of aspects of the personality. The actress for Lesia has to be someone who can pull people in, seem entirely in control, and be super friendly and outgoing. She also has to be ruthless, unhinged, have 0 sense of self-worth, be generally anxious, and seem like she's one bad day away from completely losing what's left of her sanity.

3. War Siblings

I feel like I could go with a few characters from this one, but to stick with 1, I'm going to say Ares. Him starting off the trilogy young makes it even trickier for the actor. So, the not-so-lucky person has to sound young enough (sound specifically because I would want this to be animated) to pass as a kid. He also needs to come across as a respectable prince, show both the role of a protective big brother and a slightly overbearing little brother, nail a range of emotions from giddy to furious to devastated, and correctly portray his inner turmoil with his own mind. And remember, this is just me talking about book 1. Coming from the future land where book 2 is fully written *does a happy dance*, he only becomes MORE complex as time goes on. War Siblings!Ares actually might be THE hardest character to play from my line up. I'm curious if that'll change in the foreseeable future.

(I haven't finished writing book 1 of the Rumpel Story yet, so I don't know who I'd say for that one and Big Series hasn't had anything written from it so far. I'll probably make a new one of these when those are ready!)

Modern Olympians: Probably Hades or Ares. Hades because he’s pretty much one of the most complex characters in MO- he’s caring but cunning, gentle to his people but can sometimes be a hypocrite, a good husband and father but not the best brother(still way better than the other two lol). The actor for him will need a lot of potential. And Ares because he has a complex backstory and mixed feelings towards his father and sister. He also throws temper tantrums once a while so a lot of yelling would be included in his script, which totally adds to the difficulty😂

Agent Lucky 7: I’d say Max. He barely talks but shows a lot of expressions during the whole story, so the actor has to act out the situations Max is thrown in, only using his face and gestures. That’s far limited compared to the other roles.
