Whenever you're out shopping with him it's mandatory that you hold this man's hand. He needs the conformation that your still right there and alright.
If anything were to happen to you, he would most definitely blame himself for it. This way he can make sure you are right there with him.
"Hey! Give me your hand."
"why? I'm not going anywhere."
"well yeah, but I just want to be close to you."
This man is so touched starved, please for the love of god give him affection.
Another thing he would do while out and about would be piggyback rides!
He is always happy and willing to carry you anywhere and everywhere. Just say the word and he's already crouched down waiting for you to climb on.
"My feet hurt, can you carry me?"
As he scoops you up and starts trucking along the way you two were headed. Humming happily to himself with the stupidest grin on his face.
Ace's love language he gives is defiantly Physical Touch and Quality Time, no questions asked.
He will spend all day being by your side if it wasn't for him having responsibility's on the ship he has to deal with.
He'll help with random things, talk to you about his latest trip, or even just hang out beside to have an excuse to hold you in some way.
From hand holding to hugging you from behind, to even just pressing his leg up against yours while you two sit together.
As you are working on tieing something to the deck, you feel a pair of hands wrap around your waist from behind.
"Hey Babe, Whatcha working on?"
"My chores. The ones you should be doing as well."
"Cant blame a guy for wanting to hang out with his partner"
"But since your here, Mind helping me with this?"
As you say that you hear Ace groan and feel him rest his chin on your shoulder
"Or, we can go for a snack break?"
Even though you don't get near as much done than if he wasn't there, you wouldn't change it for the world.
The type of love language ace loves to receive on the other hand is Words of affection by a long shot.
His view on himself has never been good, not to mention him at times feeling unworthy of love.
Any time you tell him how much he means to you, or how much you care about him.
It just completely melts his heart.
TELL HIM HE MEANS THE WORLD TO YOU !
You step off the ship on the island you docked at to see ace standing by the shore on the beach.
His expression shows he isent haveing the best day so you decide to see whats up and approch him.
"Hey. What's on your mind?"
As he turns to you, his expression is sorrowfull with tearstained cheeks on his face.
"Do you think, I deserve the love you give me?"
His response was straight and to the point.
"What kind of question is that???"
You yell, as you bring him into a tight embrace.
"I don't feel like I deserve you."
Tears begin to well in his eyes again.
After that, you two stay on the shore for as long as he needs.
Just being there for each other.
