Finding fidgets in Canada can be surprisingly difficult, especially when youβre an adult and want options that suit your needs and personal style.
Weβre Flappy Happy, a small Canadian business run by two autistic women on Vancouver Island, BC. We started our shop because we wanted adults to have more fidget options that felt comfortable, useful and chosen with them in mind.
We donβt think adults should have to hide their stimming, or that fidgets need to be discreet to be appropriate. Bright, playful and noticeable fidgets are for adults too, and itβs completely valid to stim proudly. At the same time, some people feel more comfortable using something discreet or need an option that blends in at work, school or in public. We want people to have access to both.
Thatβs why we carry plenty of classic fidgets, including tangles, push pops and infinity cubes, alongside more discreet options such as spinner rings, fidget earrings, fidget necklaces, calm strips and chewable jewellery.
We believe adults should be able to use the tools that help them regulate, focus or feel more comfortable without being made to feel childish for needing them.
We also know that shipping within Canada can get ridiculously expensive. Orders of $70 CAD or more ship free, parcel shipping is capped at $15 CAD, and lettermail shipping is available for eligible smaller products like spinner rings.
Although this ad is intended for Canadians, we also ship internationally and our free-shipping threshold still applies. Please be aware that international orders may be subject to customs, duties or other import fees that we cannot predict. We are not currently selling to the United States or some EU countries because the tariffs and associated costs do not make it feasible for our small business.
