This painting is still lurking somewhere in my parents’ storage unit. I think the dysphoria bound up in the paint has made this an extremely cursed object 😂

Looking for some things you can do to help the trans community in the wake of the Dept of Health and Human Services memo? I made a ~mini-zine~ (with a poster on the inside!) based on Chase Strangio’s article of actions you can take! Feel free to print + distribute this as you like - it’s all about getting the word out and making it easy for others to help :)
The last pic is of totally rad risograph printed version done as a collaboration with Irrelevant Press and Unity Press. I’ve been distributing them in San Francisco so keep your eyes peeled!

I started this “Happens to Have a Penis” pin project because I wanted to create some more trans representation in art objects and have the proceeds benefit the amazing Trans Lifeline. I have been so surprised and touched by both the response to these pins and the amazing breadth of support this project has received. Y’all have bought 232 pins, which means y’all donated $2320 to Trans Lifeline!!! That’s amazing!!! That’s better than amazing it’s downright incredible!!! 🤯😭🙏 I made 300 pins total, so there’s 68 left (sold out of the plant ones sadly). So let’s raise that last $680 to hit an even $3000!!! You can find them at http://ramonais.online
A D&D campaign I played in for 3 years (!!) ended last night, and it was such an emotional and bittersweet conclusion to an incredible story. Our characters grew so much on their adventures, and so did we! I started this game before I came out, and when I started transitioning I worked with my DM to give my character Solace a dramatic killing-off scene, and introduce my new female character Haze - it was also a cool way to kind of reintroduce myself to the group as well. D&D has always been an escape for me, and it was so special to share all these wonderful moments with such nice friends.

My friend Deni (@dangerrobot on insta) and I just officially launched our new comix collective Neighborhood Comix!! ✨ Deni and I have each been making our own comics for a while, and now we’re teaming up to do collab pieces and table at zine fests together!
Our first project (coming soon!) is a mini autobio zine about how both of us moved to SF and came out 🏳️🌈
Anyway - go follow @neighborhoodcomix for news about where we’ll be tabling and to see exclusive projects, comics, and artwork!!
I’m tabling at San Francisco Zine Fest!!!
If y’all live in Northern California come visit me at the San Francisco Zine Fest (table #5)!!! It’s this Sunday from 11-5 in the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park ✨✨✨ I’m going to be selling my comics and zines and pins, come say hi!
Wow I cannot thank you all enough. I just totaled up all the sales from the first month my pins have been available, and you all raised EIGHT HUNRED AND TWENTY dollars for Trans Lifeline. That’s amazing!! I have so much gratitude for all of you and your incredible support. These three enamel pins featuring women who happen to have penises are available for sale at my website! http://ramonais.online. 100% of the proceeds is donated to Trans Lifeline. Currently I have about half of the online inventory left! I also want to take a moment and apologize for a delay in my shipping process that caused 9 packages to go out later than promised. I regret that, am taking steps to ensure it won’t happen again, and am happy to refund you if your order was affected (DM me - and the full $10 per pin will still be donated if a refund is issued for one of the 9 affected orders).
Seeing family for the first time after transition is always scary. For me, these moments were filled with uncertainty and fear, but also determination and hope. Even now, almost two years into my transition, I still feel that roller-coaster-drop wave of nerves before I reintroduce myself to someone I haven’t seen in a long time. I hope we one day live in a world where trans people never have to worry about moments like this, and they can just look forward to celebrating their best and truest selves. I also want to give my family a shout out for learning with me during my transition and being supportive, loving, and welcoming
As a trans person, airport security is always weird, but I had an especially tough time today 😔
Edit: someone shared this helpful link that explains the TSA’s policies for trans travelers. The policies aren’t great but there’s some info on what your options are! https://www.tsa.gov/transgender-passengers

Sometimes the smallest, silliest things feel like huge accomplishments ✨ . One of my favorite parts of transition is experiencing the things I always envied. I had shoulder length hair as a kid, but refused to style it or do ponytails or use bobby pins. I rejected anything that would make me seem like I was doing something “feminine”... even though that’s what I really wanted. As I grew up, my hair got shorter and shorter as I repressed my feelings more and more. Now I have so many hair styles I want to try, and little things like being able to do a braid are really meaningful to me.
IT’S PRIDE MONTH AND I’M PROUD AS HELL
My transition doctor is so nice. The first time I went back to see her after starting HRT, she asked me how I was feeling and I started crying because I was so happy. She gave me a hug ✨
Come hang out with me at San Jose Zine Con!!! I’m at table 8 and I have munchkins! Also, someone said I have “tumblr aesthetics”???? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
AAAAAAH THEY’RE DONE!!! Irrelevant Press did an AMAZING job these zines look so effing good I can’t even believe it. ✨✨✨ San Jose Zine Con is only TWO days away! All y’all South Bay comic lovers should come hang and check out rad zines! This is my first zine fest, and I’m going to have three awesome pieces available! 1️⃣ I’ll have my comic Manifestation, printed as a stand-alone color issue 2️⃣ I’ll have a brand new, never-posted comic about my synthesizers (done on a risograph, I’m obsessed!) 3️⃣ I’ll have hard copies of Lilies - the women’s romance anthology that Manifestation was originally published in! @liliesanthology
