“Well, think of it this way, my love,” she replied, moving close to nuzzle him tenderly because she loved him so, “We’ll fight together and once everything is alright we’ll return to the afterlife together and rest. After all, if humanity dies and our names and bodies are destroyed, we will fade as well. Even if it is hard and dangerous, at least we’re together for it.”

      “Yes... I suppose you are correct, as always.”  Ozy added in with a hushed laugh, nuzzling back into her. She always did know how to approach, and talk to him, when nerves ran high such as this. With his anxiety over the fact his loved ones were pulled from their eternal slumber, taken from the Gods they served... She laid it out to be meaningful. Surely, the Gods harbored no ill will towards them for it, for it is they who decided them worthy to be summoned. 

                                           “ Ooh? The one who governs you and CHALDEA, KING OF KINGS! Clearly I am not the MONGREL nor will I ever be one who awaited for you to descend from your throne. Consider me a proxy for their standing…now that you are awaken, depart to their side. Aren’t you eager to attend their needs above anything? ”

                                           “ Hmph! If only the SILENCE could have prolonged a bit longer with your absence, KING OF KINGS. Since you seem quite eager to remain inside your pyramid, feel free to attend that MONGREL’S needs considering their bothersome tone for your disappearance. ”

She paused after he kissed her forehead, she lifting a soft, warm hand to cup his cheek, her expression a little worried but kind.

“What’s wrong, Ramesses?” she asked tenderly, stroking his hair softly with her free hand, “Did you not wish to see them? They can wait if you’d like, I’m sure. It can just be us, so ease your great heart. What is it?”

... Ah- how could he resist speaking to her soft words?  Ramesses leaned into her gentle touch, a smile crossing his lips. He lifted his hand to cup hers, with a soft sigh. Yes... he couldn’t resist her tranquility.

She smiled fondly at his answer, inching forward until she could carefully settle in his lap to nuzzle and kiss him. She had missed him so much, so this would be a nice welcome home present for him.

“Close,” she replied kindly, “I found more of our family: your son; Khaemweset, and your father and grandfather. They’ve been waiting to welcome you home, my love.”

He welcomed her onto his lap, one strong arm finding its way around her. Holding her close, as he returned her gentle nuzzles and kiss. He missed her dearly- and he wanted to soak up every moment with her. However, this news...? 

“Trying to surprise you,” she replied, moving around the throne so she was standing in front of him with the nicest smile on her face, “I have a big surprise for you, my love. Try to guess, alright?”

Ozymandias could never hold a stern face to this woman, as a smile crossed his lips. Usually, he detested guessing games, demanding answers as quickly as possible; though with Nefertari, it was playful. Resting his cheek on his hand, Ozy shrugged a single shoulder, tapping a finger against his jaw.

Ozymandias was caught off guard by the sudden appearance by the apron-wearing magus, though to his delight. With a smile, the Pharaoh removed his cape, and placed it over her shoulders in one swift motion from behind. Leaning over her to speak more softly into her ear, while securing the cloak around her.
