Once again Warsan Shire knows exactly how I'm feeling. As I get older I'm learning to love the part of myself that is dark and lonely and the part that is light and open. I am trying not to fill my light and open self with relationships or people or things that close it off or give that feeling in my stomach where I feel so full of anger and want to tell the person or the things how they grew this tumor of hate inside me, but like the woman that I have been told to be by our incredible patriarchy heavy society I stay quiet. I stay hidden. Not anymore. #byefelicia
