Only three zipped towards her, swirling in clouds of nebulous black around her. Her hand shot out and gave an impatient squeeze to the space between them, watching as they formed together to make a spear. "It'll have to do. Whose first?"

"Not that that’s important. I wouldn’t consider a relationship something that last only a couple of days. That’s a fling." 

"Sure, it’s a fling, but to easy girls, they may consider it something more. I dunno, I’m not a girl, and I’m sure as hell not easy."

Her brows raise even higher at his second response. "That's almost somewhat decent of you. In a very odd way."

"You don’t want to know about my demons, Jackson." Once again, there’s a violent twist to her lips, a dangerous glint to her eyes. "And maybe it would work, but I think we both know it wouldn’t be worth it in the end. Nobody really likes the easy ones."

"Well, maybe I do, still-nameless ginger. I’d bet you that I’ve heard - or personally experienced - crazier than what you’re going to tell me," Jackson rolled his eyes, looking down at her. "Well, sometimes, you’ve gotta make the easy ones the hard-to-get ones. Just a single relationship - even for a couple of days - can do that to a girl."
