What type of deity would be beneficial for you to work with ?
This is directed to all kinds of people who work with deities in a way. Polytheists, monotheists, atheists, agnostics. I don’t care if you work with deities as archetypes, egregors, or gods. This is for you. (I kinda do all three because I’m agnostic and my opinion on what’s more likely shifts intensely)
Disclaimer: This is not a deity reaching out to you through me. This is not me giving a guarantee a specific deity will be good for you. This is not me giving a guarantee a specific deity will want to work with you. This is not me suggesting you a specific deity at all.
This is a really general reading, like pick a card readings always are. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.
Pick one of those four pictures.
-> The ten of swords reversed and the queen of swords <-
The sword cards in general are associated with the mind and the element air.
The ten of swords reversed is a card of change, ends and regeneration after hurtful events.Â
The queen of swords describes a feminine energy of intellectual power. She brings strategy and unbiased judgement.Â
A deity who judges the dead comes to mind, or a war deity who brings wisdom and strategy.Â
-> Ace of wands and seven of cups <-
The ace of wands is a card of inspiration and new opportunities to grow and create.
The seven of cups is also a card of opportunities, but the kind that is not rooted in reality. It’s about all you could wish for.
Look out for a deity of wishes, dreams, or maybe arts or wealth in general. The kind of deity that could deceive your senses.
-> The magician reversed and the hanged man reversed <-
The magician reversed is a card of untapped talents, illusion and deception.
The hanged man reversed is about total standstill and stasis
I’m thinking a deity of sleep and dreams, maybe. Perhaps someone who is associated with escapism and imagination.
-> Seven of pentacles and the chariot <-
The seven of pentacles is about long term view and working towards something while looking at the bigger picture.
The chariot is a card of ultimate determination, willpower and success. It’s also about control.
Pentacles are associated with earth and the chariot is associated with water.
I think this describes the godfather/allfather kind of deity. The one who rules over a kind of realm. This doesn’t necessarily mean THE god king of a certain mythology. In Greek mythology for instance this would include Poseidon and Hades and not just Zeus.
