Hi! I’m Reev, and this is my little corner of Tumblr. 🤍
I’ll be sharing my university life, psychology notes, study sessions, books, little trip diaries, random thoughts, and everything that makes this journey feel a little less lonely.
I’m a psychology student from Italy trying to survive exams, deadlines, and way too many cups of tea. Here you’ll find both the productive days and the messy ones.
I hope this blog can become a cozy place for anyone who loves learning, reading, and romanticizing ordinary life.
You’ll probably see:
* 🧠 Psychology notes & concepts
* 📖 Books I’m reading
* ☕ Study sessions & desk photos
* 🌿 Little trip diaries

I asked my family (and a few friends) to draw it just for fun, and comparing everyone’s drawings was surprisingly entertaining.
The idea is simple:
draw a cube, a ladder, a horse, flowers and a storm in a desert… then read the “interpretation.
It’s one of those internet personality tests that people have been sharing for years.
Just a little disclaimer: this isn’t a scientifically validated psychological test. Its validity is basically zero, so please don’t use it to analyze yourself or anyone else. It’s simply a fun activity that can spark conversations and creativity.
Still… it’s fascinating to see how differently everyone imagines the exact same prompt. ♡
Yesterday we drove back home after six hours on the road. It felt strange watching the mountains slowly disappear through the car window.
Today I’m completely exhausted. My legs still hurt from all the hikes, the long walks, and climbing up and down mountains every day. I don’t think I’ve moved much besides making tea and lying in bed.
It was one of those trips that makes you come home tired in every possible way, but with a heart that somehow feels lighter.
I already miss the fresh mountain air, the quiet mornings, and those moments when the only thing to do was look around and admire the view.
Until next time, Alto Adige. Thank you for letting me borrow your peace for a little while. ♡

We woke up early and headed into the Dolomites for a hike. It was honestly so much harder than I expected. I fell over 2 or 3 times, but somehow that just made it feel even more like an adventure.
We met so many animals along the way, and the views were absolutely unreal. Every time I thought the scenery couldn’t get any prettier, it somehow did.
By the time we got back, we were completely exhausted, so we ended the day at a cozy pub, eating good food, laughing, and just enjoying the evening together.
It was our last full day before heading home the next morning, so it felt a little bittersweet. I’m really grateful for every little moment from this trip. ♡
Yesterday we spent the day by the river in San Vigilio di Marebbe. The water was freezing (seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever felt water that cold), so we mostly stayed wrapped up on our blanket, listening to the river and doing absolutely nothing.
In the evening it started pouring. Instead of ruining the day, it somehow made everything feel even cozier. We found a little park with a mountain hut where we could stay dry and a covered grill, so we ended up having the loveliest vegan barbecue while the rain fell all around us.
One of those slow, simple days that somehow become your favorite memories. 🤍🌧️🏔️
We drove all the way from Cattolica to Badia, watching the landscape slowly change outside the window. Our only stop was for dinner, so we spread out a blanket and had a little picnic together. Nothing fancy: just food, good conversations, and the kind of music that somehow sounds better on road trips.
Now that we’re finally here… I get it.
South Tyrol is breathtaking.
The mountains feel unreal, the air is cooler, and everything seems just a little quieter. I already have the feeling this place is going to steal a tiny piece of my heart.

Do you have any advice on how to get back into reading, writing, and studying? Have you ever struggled with screen addiction/ overuse? Would you have any advice for someone in this position? Also I love your page!! ❤️ ☕️ 📚
Thank you so much, this genuinely made my day 🥹
And yes, I've absolutely struggled with it (still do, some weeks). The thing that helped me most wasn't discipline, it was lowering the bar until it felt almost silly: 10 pages before bed, one messy paragraph of writing, one 20-minute study block. Once it stops feeling like a mountain, momentum does the rest. For screens specifically, the only thing that ever worked for me was physical distance: phone charging in another room, and a book sitting exactly where the phone used to be. Willpower loses to a phone in your hand every single time, so I stopped relying on it.
And please be gentle with yourself. You're not lazy, your attention has just been trained a certain way, and it can be retrained. You've got this 📚❤️
Tonight I’ll be staying at a friend’s house - the same friend who somehow always convinces me to buy more psychology books.
Tomorrow we’re all heading to Alto Adige together.
I’m taking a small suitcase, a book I’ll probably end up reading before bed, and the hope of coming back with new memories, fresh ideas, and a well-rested mind.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is simply allow yourself to slow down.
Today I officially started revising the first chapter of my thesis. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
Yesterday my supervisor sent me her feedback.
At first, opening the document felt a little overwhelming. There weren’t that many corrections, but seeing comments spread across the chapter somehow made everything seem bigger than it really was. (╥﹏╥)
Instead of panicking, I decided to organize everything.
I created a separate Word document and sorted every change by chapter. Then I divided them into different categories:
✿ Structural changes - reducing each chapter from five sections to three, moving paragraphs, merging ideas, and removing the ones that no longer fit.
✿ New literature - reading the articles my supervisor recommended and integrating them into the chapter.
✿ Grammar and style - correcting small mistakes and making the writing flow more naturally.
✿ Further development - expanding a few concepts that needed more depth and discussion.
Breaking everything down made the whole revision process feel much less intimidating.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the work itself—it’s figuring out where to begin.
By the end of the day, I had already completed around 70% of the revisions. (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ
I still have to send my supervisor the updated outline and bibliography (which I’m pretty sure I already sent once… but that’s okay! ♡).
Research isn’t about writing a perfect first draft.
It’s about rewriting, refining, and slowly turning scattered ideas into something worth reading.
“Education is what survives when what has been learned has been forgotten.” - B. F. Skinner
There comes a moment when we finally understand what this quote really means. It happens when we’ve forgotten everything. The historical dates. The formulas. The theorems we memorized the night before an exam. They all fade away.
And yet, something remains.
That something is us.
Skinner touches on one of education’s oldest wounds. We spend years filling our minds with facts and information. Then life quietly erases them, one by one, with the silent gentleness of forgetting.
Many people look back on their years of studying and feel as though they wasted their time. They can barely remember the pages they once knew by heart. It feels almost like a betrayal.
But this quote is both comforting and challenging.
What truly mattered was never the information itself.
It was the invisible act of learning.
Learning to examine a problem before trying to solve it.
Learning to tolerate the discomfort of not understanding something immediately.
Learning to return to a mistake without shame.
These are the things we never really forget, because they become part of us. They shape the way we think, the way we approach the world, the way we live.
Think of a child learning to ride a bicycle.
As an adult, they might not be able to explain the physics of balance.
Yet their body remembers.
They get on the bike, and they ride.
Education works in much the same way. It reaches places deeper than memory—places where words no longer need to exist.
That’s why an educated person isn’t someone who simply collects knowledge.
It’s someone who has allowed learning to transform them.
Someone who has learned how to think, how to question, how to remain curious.
Someone who has developed a hunger for meaning that no act of forgetting can ever erase.
So perhaps the real question isn’t how much we remember.
Perhaps the real question is:
Who have we become because of what we’ve forgotten? 🌿
You don't become the person you want to be the day you reach your goal.
You become them every time you show up. Every repetition is a vote for the person you're becoming. Don't ask yourself, "How do I achieve this goal?" Ask yourself, "Who do I need to become?" Then be that person today, even if it's only for five minutes.
