The reason why I'm getting increasingly annoyed about Kataang flat-out just not being there isn't bc I'm invested in the ship, it's bc when they inevitably go there next season it'll cheapen everything else they've done. Like hey, we've developed all these other relationships, shown the main characters being capable of extraordinary emotional depth to everyone but each other, aaaand forget about all that, we're going to replace it with nothingburger 2.0.

No really, explain to me how is everyone paralleled with everyone else but when it comes to the main romance, it's "sorry, genocide victims saving the world while harboring deep heartbreak from losing your loved ones, we can't think of a single personal thing you might discuss."
