It's a very vulnerable and authentic take on what it's like to be a teenager and seeing all the injustices and terrible things in the world but feeling like you're not able to do anything about it bc no one takes you seriously.
Imprisoned, the artist, is a Swiss indie rock band that had at least some members that were still in high school when this song was released, so it's as authentic as you can get.
I also think the instrumental and melodies they chose for this song reflects the vibe very well too
