If Jeff survived his head injury from β96 what do you think the outcome would be?
He already had multiple life sentences, so surviving his 1994 head injury likely wouldnβt have changed his legal outcome. He would have remained in prison for the rest of his life. However, the media attention and public fascination around him probably would have continued. He likely would have kept receiving letters from people, and the psychological pressure of living with his situation may have remained a major factor.
this man was basic af with seasoning like wdym a1 steak sauce, salt and pepper are all you need to eat your victims I expected more tbh :/
Jeff went with the concept of 'using whatever I could find in the kitchen' jajajaja
You are jealous of Chelsey because she is very beautiful and intelligent. -Jeff
π―Jeffrey Dahmer interview:
Jeff: Tell you dad.. I'm really sorry that this has happened and I love you a lot.
Lionel: I love you too.
Jeff: I'm sorry..
Lionel: Don't be sorry.

Dahmer found the bathhouse to be a relaxing place, and sometimes a strange one. It attracted people with the most unusual fetishes, for the virtue of anonymity in an environment which accepts deviance is the freedom to express peculiar desires without fear of inviting shock. There was one man whom he encountered there who liked nothing better than to suck peopleβs feet. He apparently had no teeth: Dahmer lay back and enjoyed it. For the most part, however, the men he met required more strenuous exercise to satisfy their needs, and he was put off by all that energy. Twice he was subjected to anal intercourse, which he did not like, and sometimes he would play the active part in the sexual act, which he liked rather better. But what he most wanted was for the man to keep still. - The Shrine Of Jeffrey Dahmer, Brian Masters
βWe met Jeff at the Summit County Sheriff's Department. He looked much better than usual. And although he was dressed in casual prison clothes, he looked very neat and clean. He was nervous, as he was so often nervous, but he was not entirely withdrawn. For about half an hour, we talked about things peripherally related to the hearing, and I assured him that he would only be in court for an hour or so, and that there was no need for him to be nervous. The proceedings, I told him, were cut-and-dried. There would be no surprises of any kind.
The next day, only a few minutes before the hearing, Shari and I met with Jeff again. At this meeting, Jeff was clearly apprehensive about the scheduled hearing. He feared the same kind of media assault he'd faced in Milwaukee, but in addition, he dreaded the prospect of confronting the parents of Steven Hicks, or of hearing, once again, the details of their son's murder. We said a brief prayer as we all held hands.
βIt'll be all right, Jeff," I assured him.
He did not look so sure.β
βIt's just a formal thing," I added, "something that you have to do."
Jeff nodded softly, as resigned as ever.
I smiled. βYou look good, Jeff," I said.
Which was true. He was dressed in a clean suit and neat dress shirt, but had not yet put on his tie.
"You should do your tie now," I told him. "We'll probably be going into the courtroom soon."
Jeff looked at me helplessly.
"Go ahead," I said, "tie your tie."
Jeff didn't move. "I can't," he said.
"Why not?"
He shrugged. "I don't remember how," he said.
And so I stepped up to him, wrapped the tie around his neck, knotted it, and drew it neatly up against his throat.
"Now it looks good," I said.
Jeff smiled slightly. "Thanks, Dad," he said.
Within moments, he was led into the courtroom. The hearing lasted little more than an hour. The Mozenters were there as Jeff's lawyers, and Larry Vuillemin appeared as local counsel on Jeff's behalf. Overall, the proceeding was handled with great dignity. There were no legal pyrotechnics, no press frenzy. At the end of it, Jeff was sentenced to life imprisonment without possibility of parole.β
βOnce the hearing was over, Jeff was quickly taken back to the waiting room, where we were given five minutes to say good-bye. He was still wearing the tie I had knotted for him.β
A Father's Story
Lionel Dahmer
Dahmer was repeatedly diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which is defined by the DSM-IV-TR as βA pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects, and marked impulsivity that begins by early adulthood and is present in a variety of contexts.β Following his 1991 arrest, Dahmer completed the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI); the results of which indicated that he was sane, was conscious of the difference between right and wrong, capable of dissimulation, and generally maladjusted. The MMPI revealed Dahmer as alienated from both others and from himself, as strongly depressive and hopelessly oriented toward the world and other humans, and filled with specific paranoid fears of othersβ hostility. Dahmerβs MMPI scores suggest that these characteristics conclusively demonstrated that he was a deeply troubled man who was unable to control his impulses.
What mental health disorders was Jeffrey Dahmer diagnosed with?
Court-appointed and defense experts diagnosed Dahmer with Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizotypal Personality Disorder, and severe alcoholism. He also exhibited severe paraphilias, including necrophilia and splanchnophilia (sexual excitement from internal organs).

"Your Honor: It is now over. This has never been a case of trying to get free. I didn't ever want freedom. Frankly, I wanted death for myself. This was a case to tell the world that I did what I did, but not for reasons of hate. I hated no one. I knew I was sick or evil or both. Now I believe I was sick. The doctors have told me about my sickness, and now I have some peace.. I know how much harm I have caused...Thank God there will be no more harm that I can do. I believe that only the Lord Jesus Christ can save me from my sins...I ask for no consideration."
- Jeffrey Dahmer's apology letter to the judge
Jeffrey Dahmer in his grandmotherβs house, recorded by his father.
Detective Pat Kennedy: The reason why he killed people was to keep them with him, & now by eating the body, not only was he keeping them with him, but he was actually eating them & making this person part of him, so they were with him forever. They were one with Jeff. Although it soundsΒ bizarre & incredible, at the time that he told me this story, I must admit, it made perfect sense to me. That means that I am crazy too. Although I didnβt agree with any of it, it seemed like a logical subsection to what he did.

βI just get angry with other people who think they have a right to somehow try to blame my parents for what happened. Thatβs not right at all. No one has the right to do that because theyβre totally innocent. They had no knowledge of it. And that angers me. There comes a point where a person has to be accountable for what heβs done. Canβt go around making excuses, blaming other people or other things. So I alone am the one who is responsible for whatβs happened. The only motive that there ever was was to completely control a personβa person I found physically attractive. And keep them with me as long as possible, even if it meant just keeping a part of them.β
- Jeffrey Dahmer
By the time Jeff was two years old he was talking. He called himself βJeffyβ and held fingers up to indicate his age. He could also say βpottyβ, βUp peaseβ, and βTVβ, and within a few more months had memorised his first prayer. The words of the prayer were. βNow lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. God bless everyone. Make Jeffy a good boy. Amen.βΒ
