You stood there, completely frozen for a second. It was like the whole world has stopped

“Yes! I’ll marry you” you screamed out, probably scaring other people and pokemon who were in the area

And in this moment Raihan was the happiest person in the world

He would definitely just hold you in his arms for a long time, just standing right there in the moment, wanting to remember every detail and emotions

When he learnt you are pregnant he would literally just jump from happiness

It was starting to get dark. A couple of hours ago you decided to go out to the wild area to train. Your plan wasn’t exactly to stay out there this late but you got caught up in the moment and completely lost sense of the time. You took out your rotom phone to check what time is it. 9:54PM. “Ah, I better head back. Raihan should be home soon as well.” you thought to yourself. You slowly made your way through Hammerlocke, watching the night lights of the city. Even though you’ve lived here for quite some time, you never really took your time to look around you and just enjoy everything that was going on. You decided that it would be fun to go through another alley, just to explore the city a bit more before you got home. What you didn’t consider though was if that alley was actually safe to go through. Just like any big city, Hammerlocke had some places that were not considered as safe as others. As you were walking through the alley, you suddenly felt a strong grip around your waist and someone holding a cloth to your mouth. Before you could even realize what was going on or scream for help, you felt your eyelids getting heavy and your eyesight getting hazy.

The moment Raihan unlocked the front door of your shared apartment, he was met with unusual silence. “Y/n, you home?” he shouted slightly, but there was no answer. Even though it seemed weird that you were not home at this hour, he didn’t think too much about it. “She’s probably out with some friends or something” he thought to himself. He sat on the couch in your living room, scrolling through his social media, waiting for you. A few minutes later he received a message from an unknown number. “2:00AM. Behind Hammerlocke stadium. Bring all of your pokemon and we will give her back”. Raihan was as furious as he was worried. He wrap his mind around who would want his pokemon so much that they would do something like this.

2:00AM. Raihan made his way through the city, looking suspiciously at almost everyone. The moment he arrived he saw you, laying unconscious on the ground tied up. He has never felt such rage. “Your pokemon with ya?” one of the two thieves said. “I have a deal for you” Raihan said trying to sound as calm as possible, “We’ll have a pokemon battle, if you win I’ll give you my pokemon and everything but if you lose you’ll get out of this town”. The thieves were hesitant, but after all they thought they have a chance to win.

Finding your soulmate, in the world you live in, is a pretty important thing. Once you turn 10 years old, you will have the ability to share your feelings and dreams with your soulmate. Some people found theirs when they were young, others lost the one they were meant to be with before they even got the chance to meet them outside of their dreams.

You already knew your soulmate through your dreams and felt that he was doing good, so you were considered one of the lucky ones. The not so lucky part was, you lived in different regions. Raihan on the other hand couldn’t consider himself lucky. All of his friends somehow had the luck to have their soulmates in Galar. Even though you had the distance between you two, you still managed to share everything as if you were actually together all the time. You started your gym challenge together, showed each other pokemon that lived only in this certain region, you watched as he slowly developed his love for dragon types, shared your happiness as you both got to the championship, the sadness of his loss on the semi-finals, him becoming a gym leader. You went through most of your life together. Here you were now, packing your things for tomorrow’s morning plane for Galar. You couldn’t believe you were finally going to see Raihan. Excited, you went to bed knowing that tonight will be the last dream you shared before finally being happy to wake up everyday to your soulmate. Raihan was just as excited and happy.

“I can’t wait to see you tomorrow!” you said happily, wide smile on your face. “It’ll be so much fun! I’ll introduce you to everyone here, I’m sure you’ll love it!” Raihan answered just as happily. Both of you continued to plan out dates and whatnot throughout your last dream together.

The next morning you were quick to get ready and got to the airport way too early. You boarded the plane, already imagining the life that was awaiting you. Meanwhile Raihan was running around his apartment trying to find the list of things he wanted you to do together once you arrive.

Two hours passed with no sign of your airplane arriving. Raihan was starting to get worried. Was he in the wrong place or is it just the airplane being late?

Four hours passed. Your plane was still not at it’s destination. A bunch of people were already gathered waiting at the gates, whispering to each other, visibly just as worried as him. All of a sudden he felt anxious. Immediately he knew something was going on, after all the time you’ve spent together he knew when he felt what you were feeling. The feeling got stronger and stronger and after a couple of seconds it was gone. He knew that this couldn’t be any good.

Six hours passed. The large group of people waiting at the gates was growing smaller. Raihan already had an idea of what happened but still, he didn’t want it to be true. After a couple of minutes he got a notification. “The airplane from Alola to Galar, which was supposed to arrive in Galar around 12 hours ago, has reportedly crashed. So far there are no survivors.” Raihan felt like his heart stopped as tears slowly rolled down his cheeks. “No this must be a mistake” he thought to himself. He looked around, seeing everyone who waited for that plane. Some were crying, some were too shocked to even move. Soon there were airport staff running left and right trying to calm people down. He couldn’t believe it. After everything that happened, he lost you before he even properly had you. The day he thought he had every little bit of happiness turned into one of the darkest days. He didn’t even realize Leon, Sonia and all of the gym leaders have arrived. Raihan just couldn’t bring himself to say anything after hearing the news. The life you two planned not even a day ago was gone but more importantly, you were gone.
