WHY MOST B2B CONTENT DOESN’T CONVERT (AND HOW TO FIX IT)
most b2b brands still treat content like a checklist.
post once a week, add a keyword or two, move on.
but here’s the thing — content isn’t a box to tick.
it’s a growth engine.
if you know how to use it.
the problem?
too many brands write for algorithms, not for people.
and people can tell.
when you focus on rankings instead of clarity,
on volume instead of value,
you lose the part that actually converts: empathy + intent.
MY APPROACH IS SIMPLE:
1. define the reader’s pain — in their own words.
2. tie every piece to a business goal.
3. write for decisions, not clicks.
do that, and your content stops being decoration.
it starts driving growth.
been thinking a lot about this since i started working with b2b & saas brands.
good writing is easy.
writing that moves people — that’s the real challenge.
