I used to think that all the blessings in the world

Are in the palm of my golden righteous hand

Until the masks shattered and proved me wrong.

I learned I spent my whole life in a wasteland.

You showed a window in my endless spiral tower

That I was climbing, not looking in the mirror,

Until I saw right through it making silence louder.

My rose-tinted visor fell off helping to see clearer.

You swore to paint the crimson red skies so colorful

So blood isn't our curse but other way to see it

You thought wings are what help to look so cool

And I knew how to fly but not for the stars you lit.

Spear always continues my belligerent arm but

For you it turned into a precious golden flower.

Glowing so bright it stays in your hair forever stuck

As a reminder how Heaven’s sun used to be so sour.

Even when the world goes dark, I'll be the light that carries you home 🏮🖤
