i think being proud of where you come from is one of those things that becomes fun the more specific you get. like "proud to be english" bad rancid vibes. makes you sound like the kind of person who rants about immigrants. "Does Rocky hate Stratt" I think it's more complicated than that. On the one hand, Eva Stratt did what she had to do to keep Earth safe, there was hardly any time for her to sit and think and do things more ethically. On the second hand, he doesn't think saying a lot of if not outright mean then definitely psychologically damaging things to Grace and putting him in the Eridian torment nexus was really the best way to go about it, she could've been more humane about euthanizing him. Now he has to deal with a traumatized leaky space horse who thinks no one loves him and needs so many medical procedures and can't do any of them without having a panic attack and also if he dies from any of the five million things he could die from, including the aforementioned "not thinking anyone loves him" thing, then Rocky is going to fall into an endless pit of despair so that was.
