interestingly, this idea is OLDER than my thoughts for Stagnant Light!! i've just never bothered to begin executing it... UNTIL NEOW!!!!!!

Summary:

Upon the defeat of Belos, the witches and demons of the Boiling Isles got right onto reformations and reconstruction to undo every last piece of Belos' influence, bringing about a slew of changes in lifestyle and priorities.

Boscha, disillusioned since the Day of Unity, is having more trouble than ever. Her previously abhorrent behavior worsens as she clings to any remnants of the social life and power in Hexside she used to have.

Former friends begin moving on, and are wisely leaving her behind.

All except for Skara, not wanting to leave Boscha to fester in her pining, her spite, her overrall stubbornness, despite her immaturity and refusal to grow.

I was very surprised that Luz's big brother never made an appearance, since Hunter would sympathize a lot with what she was going through. Will he and Luz get a chance to talk it out in your other stories or in an epilogue?

on the topic of Hunter, there were plans to include him, and he would have been a wonderful addition but i also wanted to have Willow, Gus, and Amity be more prominent here, as I felt Hunter would be more befitting for a follow-up story describing Luz's later recovery, rather than the immediate! that, and he had a... previous engagement!

(in my mind, not literally speaking!! would be utterly insane if SL and SP took place at the exact same time) psst... speaking of... i am currently chipping away at a "Stagnant Light 2" of sorts... that is NOT what it'll be called, but... you can count on Hunter being much much more involved there, with much more Luz Dysmorphia Tumbling, and overrall a little bit more... titanic >:)
