Jenna’s new vid upset me so much because what the hell man, there are people out there who are actual rapists, abusers, racists etc and no one ever comes after them. Cancel culture is toxic, especially when it involves canceling someone for things they did so many years ago, things that no longer represent who they are now. You can’t preach the “people can change, growth is possible ” mantra if you don’t allow people to actually move on from their mistakes and show their growth, to the point you actually force them to stop doing what they love most because it’s not longer fun for them (Jenna’s case). No one is unproblematic, in our lives we all have done things that were not that good but if we acknowledge our mistakes, try our best to not repeat them and also try to be better, do we deserve to be canceled forever? If the answer is yes, then how can we grow?

UR TELLING ME THAT JENNA MARBLES IS QUITTING YOUTUBE UR TELLING ME THAT THE ONE MEGA YOUTUBER WHO CONSISTENTLY ACKNOWLEDGES THEIR MISTAKES AND TAKES ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS AND CONTINUES TO LEARN AND GROW AND DO BETTER FEELS SO BAD THAT SHE IS QUITTING YOUTUBE YET THE PEOPLE WHO TIME AND TIME AND TIME AND TIME AGAIN HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES TO BE UNAPOLOGETICALLY OFFENSIVE AND BIGOTED AND PROBLEMATIC STILL HAVE A LARGE FOLLOWING AND RAKE IN MILLIONS..,,, 2020 COULD NOT GET WORSE THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CASE SCENARIO

be proud of yourself. Getting out of bed is a struggle sometimes. taking care of yourself is hard. keeping clean, staying motivated, recovering, finishing a task, finishing a meal. Every day you accomplish so much. Value your accomplishments, and don’t let others belittle them. You are doing a very good job. I am proud of you.
