When you were on those first radfem blogs hate reading or just a crypto, what was your last straw? What finally peaked you over the edge?

Asking because I've been radical feminist aligned since 2012 before gender nation attacked and "TERF" didn't exist outside obscure forums and I was pre sold on like 9/10 of radfem arguments before I ever got a whiff of the trans issue so the act of having to do a hard peak is foreign to me

But I want to make sure I portray the recent rabbit hole pace accurately for Ceremony my TRA character in Constant Craving

I used to identify as nonbinary but I can say that what "peaked" me was realizing that I am just a GNC woman and that I'm a lesbian in 2023. Even as a lurker, everything all started as hatereading but seeing so many words that I did agree with, I started seeking out more posts here about radical feminism, especially the posts criticizing the usage of the q-slur to talk about SSA people, homophobia and misogyny in the LGB(TQ) community, and anti-makeup and anti-shaving sentiments.

Of course! Unfortunately the most popular vids/the videos that get pushed to the front by youtube when you search radical feminism are very rarely from radfems themselves

The first I want to recommend is runawaysiren940. she unfortunately passed about a year and a half ago, but she was an amazing young lesbian and shared a lot of her thoughts. rest in peace.

GNCCentric has a lot of videos where she reads lesbian and radical feminists texts as audiobooks, I’ve loved her channel for years

RadicalRamblings hasn’t posted in a while but has a good variety of stuff from reading radfem texts, posts, articles, and having stream conversations with her friends that are fun to listen to

WomensLiberationRadioNews reports on a lot of news on women’s rights worldwide and has some interviews, they recently had their 10th anniversary

there’s a few gender criticals from back in the day that I occasionally check on on, but most are straight and revealed themselves to be lesbophobic or anti-gender nonconformity in some way (or are just really out of touch)

When men say all women read is poorly written porn-slop and I have no defense because the girls are deadass reading that.

They start listing shit like ‘you’re not gonna experience cramps’, so it already sounds like they’re ungrateful for having their periods, which should be a blessing. Number two, they talk about how oppressed they are. Number three, they talk about how much they work and how little they get paid and that they do more for men, so obviously they’re talking about things that fuels their victimization. instead of just taking that power back and stop supporting men, they’re telling men ‘how much I do for you and I get nothing in return. I’m oppressed.‘

It almost sounds as if they hate being a woman them-fucking-selves. There’s a whole lot of internalized misogyny, and honestly past a certain age i don’t believe in that bullshit anymore.

Women will see a thoughtful written analysis about female condition and throw nothing but ad hominens at them when it hits a nerve.

Just like how leftists abused the word "fascist" so many times that it has lost its meaning, feminists have done the same to "victim blaming" and "misogyny".
