Greetings, internet stranger, I'm Raasturi (previously known as Ager Avena, TundraBox, or Star the Wolfox).

This is my personal blog where I post art about my OCs and media I like. 99% of it is SFW, but I do swear, and the art I make can be suggestive/violent, so viewer discretion is advised [14+ recommendation / tags I use: #suggestive #nudity #gore]. I speak English here (may not always be the best), but I also understand Finnish and Swedish. My art style is very inconsistent, I'm still figuring it out. I don't do commissions, sowwy 😔. I knowww, I still haven't finished the Pride drawing, I'm so homophobic 💔💔💔. It's just that I still don't really know my style, so I needed a moment to draw something simple. Also I was busy renovating and rearranging my room. So here, have a bunch of my OCs that you've never seen before!! (All are from the same universe except Gembone and Verinahka)

I couldn't resist drawing a couple Steven Universe characters there too, teehee. I rewatched the series and it hasn't left my mind since. Maturing is realising that Steven is awesome and literally the best. This is me whenever I see him:

A while ago, when I found out the TADC movie would be coming to my country. I was really excited. Now I wasn't that big of a fan of TADC (at least after the pilot). The longer the show went on, the more I disliked it (especially Jax), but it was still an indie show that I wanted to support. But then a controversy regarding some of the voice actors being racist started popping up. At first I saw a lot of people (non-black) brush it off, but the more I listened to black people (aka the ones who were actually affected by it), the more I realised how big of a deal it actually was. This whole situation also highlighted a problem that a lot of people should know:

If somebody has said or done things that don't affect you, you are not the one who can forgive them!

It's like someone bullying someone, and then you, an outsider, saying you forgive the bully after they apologise. Doesn't make much sense, now does it?

But back to TADC and Glitch. After that, I've found out about even more controversies, like the weird and misogynistic tweets that Gooseworx has made, other VAs from other shows also being problematic and racist, and Glitch's suspicious track record of almost exclusively hiring white people. There is probably more that I've missed, but even only knowing the first controversy made me stop wanting to support Glitch. I just can't watch their series anymore without feeling really guilty and sad for the people affected by everything.

These are not perfect, but I feel like I've definitely become better at making them. It's amazing how you can improve at something just by doing it over and over again.

Out of curiosity I also checked what the cost is in Sweden. It's about 25€, apparently. Like... genuinely why the hell does it cost so much here. At this point I've accepted that I'll just have to pay that amount, but it still makes me think.

I know I like to talk about this country a lot, it's almost like a special interest to me, but I genuinely hate this place lmao. The people suck, the government sucks especially, and I don't even know if there's even any culture left apart from hideous food and normalised isolation.
