HAVING HIS PERSONAL SPACE INVADED WAS NOT ANTICIPATED, especially not when the angel tore him from his standing place - right into an awkward half - hug. it was his way of celebration, showing that he was eager to see him after such a horrific outcome of the battle. his wounds had healed up, he was able to walk around without a limp anymore. though, the last person that he expected any reconciliation from was LUCIFER himself. the man who had shown him up at the scene of the incident, saving the day. doing what he should have been able to, if not for his inability to use his FULL STRENGTH. the smile remains plastered on his face as he's pulled into the smaller's side. this wouldn't shake him enough to wipe the smirk off of his lips. if anything, he would think that it was done with the intentions of trying to make him uncomfortable. then again, most would agree that the angel had a strange way of showing his affection for others. he tended to have a loud mouth, not knowing when to stop; jittering at the thought of having something in common with someone. he'd seen it in action before. this was nothing new.

ALASTOR has seen him reel back on his comments in the past, recognizing that he had brought unnecessary punishment onto himself by saying outlandish remarks. for the moment, he was displaying more patience than he had in the past, but it wasn't for the sake of being kind to his captive. he had struck a nerve. that was what was keeping him so silent.

everyone knew of ALASTOR'S DISAPPEARANCE, at least - that was how ALASTOR SAW IT. he was too full of himself to believe that no one would have taken notice of his lack of presence in the hellish scene. hiding for several years hadn't done anything good for his reputation. most wanted a good explanation for it, of those whose opinions mattered most: he wouldn't give them one.
