#MLP: Era of Friendship future gen AU

Recently completed some Helluva Boss redesigns for my portfolio and wanted to share em here!! :)

I'm quite happy with how the poses turned out while I was working on these haha, hope you guys like it :D

I saw this one ship dynamic post and instantly got reminded of them 😭

Hmm, I like to imagine they still remember how they behaved before the swap. So while they’re in the swapped state, they’re aware that something feels off, like they’re acting out of character from how they usually behave, if that makes sense ^_^

Lowkey now that you asked, I had a small thought bubble of how I imagined this sort of AU would pan out, I actually envisioned this to be a potential mini-sode special if Hazbin ever gets greenlit to make a series for filler stuff !!

I think it could take place somewhere within the aftermath of Season 2, maybe it begins with Al and Luci bickering as per usual and either *Baxter or a random guest at the hotel used their powers to accidentally swap Alastor and Lucifer's personalities while the both of them were caught off guard. I like to imagine the switch would be temporary ofc. Then maybe Nifty being Nifty starts nicknaming them 'alcifer' and 'lucitor' while the rest of the hotel gang goes along with it + trying their best to figure out how to keep both of them from running rampant at the same time.

(*ngl I think this is the 2nd time I used Baxter as a scapegoat for any magical related mishaps HAHA)

Additional Headcanon stuff??:

if ya'll have seen the Little Bit Bad Music Video, I would imagine it following the same way with Al being really confused after getting personality swap'd while Lu just embraces the villain persona

Alastor having Lu's personality actually tries to join the rest of the hotel crew and help them stop Lu from spreading chaos

Maybe there's some honest heart-to-heart moments between Alastor and the crew... (my delusional heart wants to think Personality!Swapped Alastor would be more genuine, vulnerable and honest then his normal counterpart)

Alcifer: "but I Know, there is no debate on the smiles you could help to make, I-"Lucitor: "Like a clown? No, I'm not down, Don't get it twisted, no, nothing's missing, I like the frowns!"

Had A Little Bit Bad stuck in my head for a couple of weeks now and had this AU idea in my head of Radioapple but if they temporarily swap Personalities for one mini-episode or something HAHA (this was so much fun to draw but oh god my hand's numb /hj)

So I had the idea that when Luci gets comfy his wings pop out uncontrollably lol! And one night while Luci and Al are cuddling his wings do this, and just SMACK Al square in the face! And Lu is “OhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygosh, I’M SO SORRY AL!” And Al is just like “Ah, it’s fine, I’m fine, Lucifer!”. And because of this Al gets a black eye.

Later Charlie is just like “Alastor are you okay?!” And before he can come up with a good excuse Lu pipes is and is like, “the idiot tripped going UP the stairs, I saw it, it was fucking hilarious!”. And later Al gets mad and is like, “are you kidding me?! THAT was your excuse?!” And Lu says “would you rather they know the truth?! I just saved your ass!” And Al is like “I can’t believe I’m in love with you!”

OMG WAIT- this is actually so goated?? 👀 I actually also headcanon that Luci does that with his wings too HAHA great minds think alike 🫢

I think what motivates me to draw is probably the sake of self-indulgence haha, a lot of stuff I make is purely done for myself and my own comfort, I guess sometimes it happens to reach the right people who enjoy the things I enjoy xD
