Taeyeon chuckled, lightly shaking her head, âDo you always concern yourself over the well-being of others? Itâs not a bad thing, donât get me wrong, but it is quite uncommon.â
âAnd really fucking annoying. Who the fuck are you?â
She fixed the strap of her handbag on her shoulder, giving him a soft smile, âI couldnât say no to that though. Itâs not every day that Iâm invited out for lunch, least of all on a day that I actually have off.â She reached out her hand in a formal gesture, tilting her head slightly, âMy nameâs Taeyeon. And yours?â
"oh-- it's just a habit, i suppose," he admitted with a little rub at the nape of his neck; he hadn't even really realised it. "is it? i must have met some quite kind people, then, because i never thought it was." shrugging, a simple smile graced his lips, tongue running over them not too soon after as a common sign of nerves. he was glad she didn't turn him down, though, and he had to take a little but deep breath in relief. "alright," he said with a firm nod, "but its my treat, okay? nothing for you to pay for." he took her hand after just a small moment of silly hesitation, bowing his head politely with a little shake. "simba. or, if that's too silly-- kyungsoo."
