It is sad when a child decides to end their lives, regardless of the reasons. In this case I honestly blame the parents. You could have shown your child love and understanding.  Religion doesn't have an answer for everything, if it did then there would be no war, no disease etc. Using religion as your excuse for not getting your child the help he/she fully deserves is paramount to neglect in my opinion. Failing to recognize and listen to your child about something as important as how they see themselves is just being moronic. Top it off you refuse to refer to your child as their preferred name is childish at best. Rest assured somewhere somehow somebody will change any tombstone you erect in the name of JOSH and correct it to Leelah!  You had a chance to embrace a community of acceptance, to embrace your child and show them love and respect. Now you have nothing but the suicide note above and a FUCK YOU from your now deceased child. If you try to take the note down it won't change a thing. You still have to bury your child and while you don't recognize her as Leelah, THE WORLD DOES!!! RIP Leelah, it is a shame you didn't have better parents. You have made a difference.
