Peace Family. Allow me to semi-formally reintroduce myself.
My Name is Quincy.
I’m an intentional voyager , documentarian, and visual anthropologist . A multidimensional being, with roots in South Georgia & Florida.
Im a descendant of agricultural cultivators , growers, builders , clairvoyants , energy workers & healers.
The work I do is not for personal gain ; it is for the greater good of all. It is ritual ; it is offering; it is community.
Land is important to me. I learned at a young age that trees, soil and water are some of the oldest story tellers . I connect with the three for inspiration; they bring me closer to my own story. Telling OUR stories is what motivates me. Every destination that I’m afforded the opportunity to travel to , is intentional; and is for the healing & well being of Black folks & people of color. I do this for Us.
I’m a lover & I love who I please , as I please. As a man that is constantly reinventing himself, I find myself disassociating from who and what people expect me to be. Any old versions of myself have since expired.
I’m delicate and sensitive
I cry a lot , it’s healthy for me.
I aspire to live my life with as much sweetness that I can decently manage , loving every being that crosses my path.
My overall mission is to connect with, inspire, & bring people from many backgrounds together through the knowledge & stories that I’ve gained via my travels , personal endeavors & sacred experiences ; ultimately motivating them to transform into higher versions of themselves.
I pray that at one point in my journey that I’ve had or have the chance to cross paths with you & that I make a everlasting imprint on your soul.
We are all on this Quest called Life; where are you heading ?
Enjoy these photos of my country ass, on a farm, shooting the breeze as my elders would say. Zora Neal Hurston is my favorite black author. I believe I own almost every book that she has written. Through the years I’ve found that we share so many parallels in our lives; so many, that I’ve read her books thrice over, just to make sure I didn’t miss any synchronicities. This is my 4th time reading DTOAR, & it never gets old. 💚
