BUT before that there's a small issue I'd like to discuss, and it's the Naming Conventions used on this blog.

Until VR, the main hub to search for Inazuma Eleven characters has always been the wiki, which uses "romaji" versions of the original japanese names (Ej Gouenji Shuuya instead of Axel Blaze). However, with Victory Road we now have Inazugle wanting to be the main source of information instead, which uses the DUBBED english names. So sometimes I wonder, if the fans go more and more to Inazugle for information then should I use the localized names instead in my posts?

I get this problem isn't that prevalent with FFI Quartet since most of the names barely changed within the localization (TGH is the most affected), but for anyone outside the group then it's going to be slightly complicated 💀

I know there's a third way on this and it's the UNTOGGLED dub names, which also have their differences vs the names used on the wiki (EJ Gene Baker vs Jean Baker, Rajji Paara vs Ladji). The problem with these however is that L5 hasn't even added them to Inazugle yet nor the wiki has adopted them neither, so I think these names are the least known within the fandom. Plus I don't have the main source for them, the actual Victory Road game, and other sources are 1- fan datasheets which are left abandoned 2- gameplay videos that might not be the best reliable source as updates go by.

So, as a tl;dr, here's an example of what is currently bugging me right now:

If you're wondering about the cons of each option, then my best guess is that the dub names aren't that popular with everyone in the fandom, while the wiki names are always subject to be changed to the untoggled dub ones.

And as for the untoggled names' cons... Not only they're also just as unpopular (yet) but I also despise some of them (Bruce MERLIN and Rajji). Plus they're also subject to change (I think?).

Besides drawing them as furries, I also love them as animals :D Tho I cannot decide for the life of me if I want to make Carmina a white kitty or a deer.

This one is a recent sketch compared to the rest, and it features what was meant to be Carmina's redesign. Long story short I have tried so hard to deviate from her pigtails and eye style vs her original drawings (Specially ever since a particular Victory Road character was revealed) but I genuinely wasn't convinced enough. This look was also based off a version I did of her at CustomCast:

I'm still most likely keeping the eye style and pants (As I feel like a skirt wouldn't be comfortable with her skin condition). but choosing her hairstyle is still a nightmare 😵‍💫

...Okay, now onto Futures again. I have two versions of these.

Personally... I've always seen Stephane's music being of a similar style of that of Edith Piaf. An example of her songs:

My choice mainly comes from the fact that while "chanson" is a broad term used for french music, it is mostly known by slow, romantic songs like the ones linked above. And I think these also are Stephane's favorites, too! I picture him as one of those kids who have a big nostalgia for retro things, including music, which is one of his main drives while composing. His music gives off a very specific feeling that makes adults reminisce about their past, and a new interest to the younger generations :'D

Though, I also like to picture him with a small flaw: He's not the biggest fan of modern music. He won't necessarily be open about it, but anything too electronic or moved will make him frown. In a way, the biggest culprit of this dislike is his older brother Romeo, who has been inspired by Stephane's early success as to start a career of his own... As an EDM DJ.
