Oh hey, an art blog

I was partly inspired by @pearlposse and their lovely collection of Pearls, and I was partly peer pressured by @chickadee567 into creating a few pearlsonas! Admittedly I have no idea what I’m doing with these two? Maybe I’ll make them a blog or maybe I’ll just keep these two in my back pocket. Anyway I like how they turned out, appearance wise.

Clover (the Pinkish Pearl) is a loud and proud masc he/him disaster bi while Coral (the Blueish Pearl) is a quiet but chaotic beach babe bi.

Together, they’re just the worst but in a fun way! They’re partners in crime, practically siblings, and I imagine they like bumming around from city to city, planet to planet, stealing cars and stealing hearts.

Everyone got a little something for Christmas this year! In addition to the Secret Santa Exchange, I gave a bonus gift to everyone else including @siobhanrobotnik @neko-shadow my pal Sacha who I don’t think is on Tumblr anymore and @electhunderarts! All in that order!

@neko-shadow gave me money to buy video games so this is how I decided to repay him: through art, memes, and pushing my gay agenda. One of these days, it’ll work!

I’m using Tori for an upcoming D&D session and while she’s normally a gnome, I decided to make her a half-orc instead. Honestly I think it fits her better! And of course I immediately started to ship her with a friend’s OC. What a good time!

I thought I was done with Art Fight but the event was extended by an extra day which...obviously meant I had to do a few more attacks. I kept it simple and quick which means the posing is a little off but...I like it? These are cute, I think. Plus it gave me an excuse to attack @siobhanrobotnik one last time. July was their birthday month, I had to.

With a new month comes an old Art Critique piece! I foolishly did this lineless for my friend Sock and surprisingly, it came out very well. I don’t know if I’ll do another piece like this again but I won’t rule it out. Lineless requires a different way of thinking that I’m not used it. It was interesting to say the least!

Here’s my piece for July’s Art Critique! There was some debate on my bright orange...but I think I’m warming up to it. Plus I drew a good ass gazebo and no one can take that away from me!

Another month, another art critique piece! My friends and I have recently expanded our critique group so now I get to draw for more people! I really tried to put my best foot forward with this one and made a more detailed background with the help of a Sims 4 reference. Thank goodness for video games!

Oh hey, it’s my piece for May’s Art Critique! And like usual, I have decided to post it fashionably late. The fun thing about drawing for @electhunderarts is that I get to do self indulgent shit like this where I imagine our characters in the Gravity Falls ending! It’s sad but it fills me with power.

Also look at that dope ass background! I’m really proud of my drawing skills.
