If she did so, she would see there was a small vase with nettles, thistles, a black rose and a daffodil, and a piece of paper in front of it with her name on it, in case she didn’t realise they were for her. Gotta give the guy some credit here people.

The Pumpkin Queen had gotten very much used to Jack waking up earlier than she did, sloooowly sitting up and stretching her arms with a yawn. A quick glance downward caused her to notice the ethereal canine, eyebrows raising. She read the note attached to his collar, feeling color rise to her cheeks as she gradually grinned. As instructed, she looked towards the bedstand and audibly gasped afterwards- eyes growing wide. 

Soon enough, the ragdoll was on her feet as she walked towards the display, feeling a strong warmth in her chest. “Oh Jack,” she spoke audibly, raising her hands and running her fingers along the leaves and flowers in the vase. She wanted to pick it up and take it with her, but she wasn’t confident in her own strength for holding the flowers for as long as it took to get down the stairs... She’ll get it later. 

“Well.. We’ve already been to Valentiens Town once, so I don’t think it will be that... B-But perhaps you could tell me what a ‘New Year’s Kiss’ is? What is the difference between it and a... old year’s kiss?”

“Well... Halloween Town citizens don’t normally partake in kissing as a leisurely activity...” Sally admitted, rubbing at her arm nervously. 

“So Jack and I don’t really kiss very often- on Spiral Hill, it was just a spur of the moment thing! Neither of us really prepared like we had to for the Wedding... It didn’t help that many of my friends were rather appalled by the fact we had only kissed once before.”

“C-CHILDREN!?”

There was definitely a sense of reluctance in the Ragdoll.

She didn’t want to hurt Jack’s feelings, but at the same time- she didn’t want to lie!

After quite a bit of fussing in order to get her dress properly fitted, as well as the flowers neatly organized so each petal stood out in her bouquet, there was a small amount of downtime before the wedding... Sally, of course, never was one for the anticipating moments prior to an event, and was growing a bit anxious for the following ceremony. Hook had heard enough of her squabbling and lamenting, so he probably needed a moment and... she needed to talk to someone else. And she knew exactly who that someone else was.

After fiddling with the seams of her hand, the appendage fell off, scurrying away like a small critter. Not aimlessly wandering around Halloween Town, of course, but rather in search of a certain skeleton- who would be having a bit of a breather before the wedding if there was no procrastination on his side of the coin. The hand would prod at his leg and tug at his pants in hopes of leading him somewhere, and if he did indeed follow, there seemed to be... a wall. Well, a door way to be exact, but the door was slightly propped open. 

“Don’t go through the doorway, just stand outside of it- out of view, love.” Hissed a blue ragdoll’s voice as the hand scampered through the crack of the door, to be sewed on to it’s rightful owner. Hopefully Jack listened and stayed against his side of the wall, because the Pumpkin Queen stood on the other side, all dolled up in wedding gown and veil.
