How many artists are looking for commissions and have a hard time getting them? It’s so disappointing that anyone looking for artists to commission has to be wary of artists who deceive others for riches :(

so one of my friend has a bday coming up and I really wanna surprise her with a present since she’s been having a really bad time! I’m looking for artists who have commissions open and would be willing to draw a hollow knight oc. The budget I’m working with is $10usd because I don’t really have access to much else. It doesn’t have to be anything specific even a little sketch would work!

Just ordered a commission from someone!~ wonder how many others I’ll pay later on. Hope the person has fun with mine~

man it’s so bad that when you look for people to commission that the ones with really cool detailed art either are stealing it off someone else or are using AI without saying they are. Why is it so hard to find someone to commission that actually draws their stuff? If your going to use Gen-AI at least tell me upfront ahead of time so I can make an informed decision. :/ I want art someone made not something they type up based on what I want. You can’t make a good comic that way!

So far I’ve seen so many cool artists with commissions open! Haven’t decided yet who’ll I pick when I go to commission someone but looking for artists is so fun! All kinds of different art styles to look over. Maybe I’ll commission a comic that’s about 4 panels long of a dragon falling off a rock. Wouldn’t that look so cool?

such a shame when your looking at artists to commission someday and discover that sadly some are just tracing art and passing it off as a commission. If I’m going to pay someone i wouldn’t want it to be traced art from a reference, you know? I would think artists who want commissions would do the bare minimum effort of their job like actually drawing. :/ can’t really call yourself an artist if you aren’t doing the hard work!

ugh it’s so annoying looking for artists to commission :( there’s so many cool people with varying art styles and prices! Wish it wasn’t so hard to pick someone. I bet some of them could even make really awesome comics.
