Here is a masterlist of the reviews I did for each LI in Ayakashi Romance Reborn. I haven't gotten to replay the Night faction yet but I will get to it eventually. Be warned that they will contain spoilers.

They're actually cancelling Valko???

The gloves are coming off with this one.

As of writing this, the Love and Deepspace official twitter account posted an apology about the current state of the game and assuring fans that they are working on main story content for Sylus and Caleb.

Here's the thing, they're doing a lot of damage control before the next livestream because they know fans, especially their CN fanbase, are angry at the game's current state. And the apology has that hollow, corporate writing that makes it feel like they're saying they're sorry because of the backlash instead of it coming off as genuine. Even the replies and quote tweets are angry. They're a company at the end of the day and they have to make money but it does not excuse them for giving an half-ass apology when they know fans have been dissatisfied about the choices they have made.

It should not have taken the reveal of Valko for them to finally address the many, MANY issues the game has.

It's the timing of the new version that really confuses me and a lot of people. And unfortunately Valko became the scapegoat for it. They said he's been planned from the start and if they were going to release him at some point, it would've been a good way to introduce him. But his reveal came at a time when people have been begging for more Sylus and Caleb content. While they are working on it, it should not have taken years at this point and backlash from the fans to finally get an answer. It gets even more frustrating when they said they're still developing their stories because what do you mean you're still developing them??? At this point in the game's life we should've already gotten story content for Sylus and maybe an announcement for Caleb. Did they really just pump out banner events after banner events and barely did anything for them??? Just how much longer do we have to wait for either of their stories to get a proper update? Even more years? What was stopping them for writing story content?

If Valko was planned from the start, then there shouldn't be any reason for the other LI's story content to be postponed in favor of revealing Valko. I'm not blaming Valko nor am I hating on him, we litereally know next to nothing about him other than what was revealed in his trailer. But his inclusion was revealed at a wrong time. And as mentioned earlier, he became the scapegoat. It's one thing if he's not your cup of tea. That's fine. I still feel lukewarm about him. But the hate he has been getting is unwarranted.

We're seeing a shift in how the game feels like its prioritizing quantity over quality.

Obviously I can't fully judge him because we know next to nothing about him so I'm gonna wait and see how his personality is before I can say if I like him or not.

He does look hot, I will admit. I like how defined he his and I'm a sucker for a hot bod.

But I don't know. I guess its the ears that aren't doing it for me. And I can understand why people say he feels out of place compared to the other guys. It feel like he came from a different game. It's not that surprising there's a werewolf when we have a mermaid, a dragon and vampire. I guess werewolves were never really my thing. He's hot but... 🤷‍♂️

I will say this though, Valko may be the one reason for me to get back into logging in daily just to see how he is and what his standard banner cards are.

It's most definitely a combination of burnout and lack of main story content. It has been a bit exhausting going through different event stories where it feels like a chore to complete them as well as the mini games tied with them, no matter how fun they are. I am a Sylus main so I pretty much will pull for him if he has his own dedicated solo banner and multi banner event. Rafayel and Zayne are my next picks and I will only pull for their banners if they look interesting. Since I've set up clear goals about who I want to pull, I don't really log in that much if there are banners that don't interest me. And honestly, it's been satisfying not having to worry about FOMO since they will get a rerun banner in the future. I've been enjoying lads when I go at my own pace.

The biggest contention I've been seeing a lot from other people is the lack of main story content. I do genuinely enjoy the main story along with the anecdotes which goes more into the lore of the world and characters. But since there's hardly been anything as of late other than few snippets of the anecdotes, I'm starting to lose interest. Now, I will say that the Myth banners does offer a lot of story content and are on par with the main story. And the event cards do offer cute moments with the MC and whichever LI you pick. But again, it can be tiring if you have to worry about how much you want to save which (to me, at least) dulls the story.

With all the new visuals we're getting from Lucifer's story, I've been having some conflicting thoughts.

On one hand I do like the direction where the story seems to be going, not just for Lucifer but the whole cast. We finally get to see the darker side of the Devildom and the Brothers as well as the side characters. And the art that's been posted so far looks great.

On the other hand, I can't help but feel a bit exhausted at there being even MORE Obey Me games considering how they handled the OG game and Nightbringer. And don't even get me started on IDO. And I wonder why it took them so long for the writers to finally explore the darker side of the Brothers compared to the mobile games, which we as players acted more like babysitters to them than something more.
