Everything we are sent has a reason. We ask Allah to give us strength so He gives us difficult situations where we have no choice but to become stronger to overcome them. We ask Him to bring us closer to Him and we lose people and distractions around us and find ourselves alone with Him. Don't look back and think how things could have worked out differently, learn the lessons and look forward. Everything has happened the way Allah has decided is best for it to have happened, alhamdulillah for it all.

Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me, and I feel a sense of loneliness, even though I know I'm not really alone. My phone might be ringing or buzzing, but I just can't seem to muster the energy to pick it up and talk to my friends and family.

It's a strange feeling, wanting to connect with others but feeling unsure of how to do so. Maybe I'm feeling overwhelmed or just need some quiet time to myself before I can be present for others.

In those moments, I try to take a step back and reflect on what's really going on. Perhaps I need to recharge my batteries or just take some time to process my emotions.

Pretending not to care, but my thoughts won't let me forget.
