Not to mention the blatant fatphobic cheetah cop caricature
THAT TO!!!
Frankly, despite that the only message Zootopia presents its audience is "cops good" and "stereotypes bad," it is FULL of stereotypes used for laughs. The fat comedic relief character loves food, Judy's whole family is rural, but everyone has a perfect middle American accent and only the mean bully character has a thick southern accent (he is redeemed as an adult, but its only to make a very in-your-face point about how People Can Change), the little cute fennec fox has a deep voice with a """"""thug"""""""" accent (haha cute little creature is actually scary Black man coded!!!!), the weasel criminal has a stereotypical lower class NYC accent + the Italian-American coded characters are in the mafia and only exist to be gangsters
On the note about the mafia characters: I also realized during this that Judy is, canonically, a dirty cop. Like its so blatant its insane???? She literally takes a witness to be tortured (threatened with death) at the hands of organized crime she is buddy-buddy with, and in that scene the crime lord says she is going to be the godmother of his grandchild (formalizing their connection with one another). She is by definition a dirty cop, who uses a personal connection to organized crime as a way to get witnesses tortured into giving over information. Which is also hilarious given that we are also meant to believe that there is corruption in Zootopia that goes all the way to the mayor, BUT that the police department is completely uninvolved and the chief has no idea. You know, famously how political corruption always works!
Zootopia has exactly two themes and the only one that it is able to keep straight is "cops good."
