Todays look of the week is this glorious queen, Milk. 

If it's one thing Milk can do is rock outrageous yet stunning looks. This one in particular caused a lot of talk. 

She is wearing white satin pants that flow so smoothly. The pants are high waisted and ends mid stomach. she seems to be wearing a nude colored bra of some sort but it is somewhat covered by a clear fabric. it is draped over her head and reaches all the way to her upper thigh. she is wearing black platform heels but we can't really see them because of the pants. the fabric that covers her top is held in place by a lilly pad with 3 different sized lotus’s on it. she has subtle make up which is highlight the controversial accessory she is wearing: a white beard. Even though it does look odd she has enough grace and talent to pull it off. There is nothing better than having a little fun with your outfits!

Good Morning my fellow kings and queens!!

So i was recently to supposed to be going to Adores show on October 23rd. excitement was and understatement but it turned sad when i found out that she was canceling her show. Of course curiosity took over me and i did some investigating as to why it was canceled. 

Usually, when you book these types of shows, you hire a promoter to, well, promote your shows. She has had some good history with them in the past so she trusted them - despite what all the other girls told her. According to her video on Youtube, the promoter had forgot to pay for everything (location, plane tickets, etc.). They later had the audacity to undermine them and think that she didn't know how to conduct business. 

She was insanely apologetic and confirmed that all the customers from the 14 cities canceled would get their money back. Besides that, however, we hope to see adore live soon!

Tis’ a glorious week for us Kings and Queens!!

Rupaul ruvealed the All Stars Season 3 queens. Each queen had an introduction scene to explain what season they were from, how they started in drag, and what they are going to do to win this season. Rupaul did like an oprah influenced “Where are they now” kind of thing. The interesting part of this season is that every queen competing never won any of the season(s) they were in. Prior to the Ruveal, a list was leaked with all the contested. The almighty queen only exposed 9 of her chosen queens and isn’t revealing the 10th one until January. The ones that we know of so far are:

-BenDeLaCreme (Season 6)

-Trixie Mattel (Season 7)

-Milk (season 6)

-Thorgy Thor (Season 8)

-Kennedy Davenport (season 7)

-Aja (season 9)

-Chi Chi DeVayne (season 8)

-Morgan McMicheals (season 2)

And

-Shangela (season 2 and 3)

There has been rumors that the last queen (10th) is Miss Darienne Lake. In honor of this, I will be doing looks of the weeks by each and every one of these queens and will discuss their losing looks. Now with a little bit of grace and a lot of patience, we can make it to the final reveal! Stay classy my Kings and Queens!!

When we think of drag, we often think of men dressed as women, more specifically gay men. but have we thought about the idea as women dressing up as men? it may not have been known as long as Drag Queens, but Drag kings are just as fabulous.

The word “Drag Kings” was first cited  in print during the 1970s. However, it appeared in U.S. cinema during the late 1860s with actress Annie Hindle. The term has been used in a broader sense as well. It can be used to label any female identifying person trying to pass as a man.

Drag Queens are known to strive towards solo careers but Drag Kings are known to work more with a group of other drag kings. Although it’s not impossible to find a solo drag king, it's extremely rare to do so. A really famous drag group are the DC Kings. Like drag queens, they still do things like: lip sync, theatrical skits, and singing.

Hello my Queens and Kings!!

So here we have the look of the week. One of America’s next drag superstars: Violet Chachki. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Jason Dorado began performing drag as Violet Chachki at the age of 19. Her first name was inspired from the film “Bound” and her last was a variant of the yiddish word: tchotchke which means a small object that is more decorative than functional.  Chachki would perform at local shows using a fake idea. this eventually lead her to win Miss New Faces.  She is an American drag queen, recording artist, TV personality, model, and burlesque dancer. 

Now that we have a back story on this queen, let’s address this gorgeous look. When I think of her, I immediately think of pin-up. With a tiny waist and over the top yet elegant dress this look fits it perfectly. The grand dress is made of many intricate designs and ends at the top with open shoulders. The color scheme is simple: purple-turquoise, with green intricate flower designs. Her make-up was kept simple yet fierce. carried with natural make up and dark lipstick, it blends in perfectly with the gown. she carries very bulky jewelry which you think would take from the look but in all actuality it doesn't. her hair is formed into what seems to form into a crown in white, which ultimately breaks the colors down and draws attention to them.
