We've managed to pick up hormones for the next little while but we still need to refill my wife's blood thinners. Unfortunately with extra expenses, we only managed to meal prep for the first week of this month.

Hey my old blog @doggirlnarcolepsy got terminated in the recent trans fem tumblr purge, so I'll be posting from this url from now on. Unless tumblr decides to reverse their rash and uncalled for decision, I guess...

Me and my wife have been struggling make ends meet this month and have an unpaid internet and power bill totaling at $225 that urgently need to be paid off or collection agencies will make our life a living hell recouping the charges and fees we will incur. We haven't been able to pick up our hormones or my wife's ozempic yet, as we've been putting aside everything we've received to cover the overdue bills. We've haven't been able to cover groceries either for a while so we've been going days on and off without dinner as our only meal trying to ration what we have left.

Everything has just been so chaotic these last couple of weeks negotiating with utility companies for extensions, barely eating and tumblr nuking my blog out of literally nowhere.. If anyone is able to help out it would be a huge relief for the both of us and we would be incredibly grateful

We managed to pay the power bill in time but we still have an internet bill due by the end of the month that we need $125 to pay. We still haven't been able to pick up our medicine, we're out of food and I don't know how we're gonna be able to afford groceries.

We're $17 off paying the internet bill, we were able to have dinner yesterday but we haven't been able to pick up groceries or medicine. We're getting paid on the 31st but with rent and expenses next month we'll still not able to cover picking up our medicine as money for food is already looking tight.

Please if anyone is able to help out, even just by sharing this post, it would be a massive help for the both of us.

My wife has been hospitalized with multiple blood clots in her inner and outer blood vessels of her lung tissue. She's currently on a 24/7 heart monitor because the clotting was so aggressive that it was putting strain on her heart, and we don't know yet if the clotting left any permanent damage.

They're currently treating her with blood thinners through IV at the hospital until the clots dissolve to a point where it's safe to send her home again. The decision has also been made that she has to start a permanent regiment of blood thinners for the foreseeable future (if not for the rest of her life) because they're worried her V-Leiden mutation will cause her to develop future clots..

Our economy is already really stressed after paying rent, we can't afford hormones and my wife's ozempic to begin with, we really need another $100 to pick up her blood thinners at the pharmacy for when she's getting discharged. Thank you so much to everyone who's donated so far, we managed to cover all our bills from last month in time. It's such a huge relief not having to deal with late fees and collection agencies on top of all of this.

My wife was finally discharged this Friday. They ended up finding more clots in her legs, so the decision was made to permanently keep her on blood thinners, most likely for the rest of her life. I assumed the price of the blood thinners was gonna be around $100 (680 Kr) in the previous update, however I didn't know that she would be exclusively be prescribed 200 pills at a time (because of the amount she has to take daily) so the price ended up being slightly over double what I thought it'd be, at $217 (1474 Kr).

We didn't receive any kind of discount on the pills since none of the medicine my wife has bought this year qualified for CTR-subsidies so we had to pay the full price for the blood thinners, which has severely cut into our already tight budget for food and necessities this month..

Just got off the phone with the hospital this morning regarding them giving my wife compression socks that were way too small to the point where they would create basically an hourglass shape just below her knee and would decrease circulation in her legs (Nurses severely rushed measuring her legs and gave her a European size 6 when she should've had a US size medium). We need another $75 to pick them up at a specialist medical supply store.

We still haven't been able to cover our other medicine yet and food is getting really tight, with us only being able to have dinner and not much else. One positive outcome about this is my wife might get to go back on her hormones and tear everyone at the gender clinic a new asshole for refusing to put her on permanent blood thinner treatment last time, because they believed she wouldn't have another pulmonary episode at such a young age.

Our economy is already really stressed after paying rent, we can't afford hormones and my wife's ozempic to begin with, we really need another $100 to pick up her blood thinners at the pharmacy for when she's getting discharged. Thank you so much to everyone who's donated so far, we managed to cover all our bills from last month in time. It's such a huge relief not having to deal with late fees and collection agencies on top of all of this.

My wife was finally discharged this Friday. They ended up finding more clots in her legs, so the decision was made to permanently keep her on blood thinners, most likely for the rest of her life. I assumed the price of the blood thinners was gonna be around $100 (680 Kr) in the previous update, however I didn't know that she would be exclusively be prescribed 200 pills at a time (because of the amount she has to take daily) so the price ended up being slightly over double what I thought it'd be, at $217 (1474 Kr).

We didn't receive any kind of discount on the pills since none of the medicine my wife has bought this year qualified for CTR-subsidies so we had to pay the full price for the blood thinners, which has severely cut into our already tight budget for food and necessities this month..

Just got off the phone with the hospital this morning regarding them giving my wife compression socks that were way too small to the point where they would create basically an hourglass shape just below her knee and would decrease circulation in her legs (Nurses severely rushed measuring her legs and gave her a European size 6 when she should've had a US size medium). We need another $75 to pick them up at a specialist medical supply store.

We still haven't been able to cover our other medicine yet and food is getting really tight, with us only being able to have dinner and not much else. One positive outcome about this is my wife might get to go back on her hormones and tear everyone at the gender clinic a new asshole for refusing to put her on permanent blood thinner treatment last time, because they believed she wouldn't have another pulmonary episode at such a young age.
