“Hello my name is Kyani Nagasaki. I am the youngest sister of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo, Donnatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. How I'm related to them Well... that's a long story…” Minors DNI!
I think it's about time to update Kyani's character sheet!
She's come a very long way from 2017 to now 2025 and I'm super excited to show y'all! I can't remember why I fell out for awhile but now I got my spark back and I'm ready to bring her back to life!
A little story about her is she's an adoptive sister of the tmnt brothers Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. But Way before she met them she lived in a farm with her mother and father Yukina and Rezuko Nagasaki and her older siblings Yoichi, Melania, Hideo, Shotaio (Shota), Masumi, and Renzyll in Kyoto Japan.
But when she was five her home got brutally attacked by the foot-clans which her uncle (a.k.a shredder) took her from her home in a hideout in Tokyo where she was treated like one of them. She was treated like a princess and was known as "Princess Yokai".
She stayed in the foot-can hideout up until she was 13 where she escaped and has been on the run to this very day.
She at first can be very stubborn, secretive, and very mysterious that will be snobby at times. But once you get to know the real her she is very kind, loving and perfectly understanding and will come out of her way to make sure you are taken care of or protected!

Mikey
He was in denial before getting confirmation you were kidnapped. He just wanted to believe anything else was true.
Once realizing you were, in fact, in danger, he got very serious very quickly.
The first day or two, maybe not so much. He simply made sure he was being thorough, paying closer attention to what his brothers were telling him.
There was then a much more obvious shift. He spoke up more when formulating plans. His brothers didn't think much of it at first, but hearing him actually sound more than competent shocked them.
The longer you're gone, the quieter he gets, until there's no more games, no more jokes, no room for messing around.
He ends up separating himself from the others altogether, training, meditating, waiting for the guys to signal a lead.
He feels terrified and worried for you. He feels angry at those who harmed you. Most, he feels shame.
Maybe everyone was right about him. He was too carefree, too wild, too stupid. It isn't the first time he's thought this way, but it's the first time he's been so incredibly affected by it.
The only way he can fix this is to be someone different. Better.
When you're discovered, he is devoted to battle. He is not letting there be any chance you get hurt, not while he can do something about it.
He's constantly calling out to the others, telling them to move faster, hit harder, do better.
As soon as the battle is won, he runs right for you, throwing himself at you.
Already he begins returning to normal. He's got you in a tight hold as the others release you, talking about how worried they all were, and how much he missed you.
On the walk back, he's mentally checking off a list, determining just how okay you are, which ranges from obvious physical injuries to how hard you laughed at his joke.
When you do return to safety, he's most focused on your mental state. Cant calm down after something like that if your mind still doesn't feel good.
He'll be making/ordering you your comfort foods, digging up your favorite movies, finding your comfiest pjs, leaving the doctoring to someone more capable.
After that, he definitely needs to curl up on the couch beside you for some long overdue cuddling.
He's utterly exhausted, the mental toll on him during that time was intense.
His brothers would poke fun at him becoming so tired after "having to actually think".
With it all over, things seem to return to normal. He's back to his excitable self!
But the way you catch him looking at you? The way his grip as he holds you is firmer than before? The way that, when he's near you, his breathing sounds heavier, and at times even shaky? You can tell he still thinks about what happened.
You try to ease his worries, that everything will be okay. He plays it up as if that works for him.
He may never admit he just doesn't think he's good enough the way he is.
You met April through your mutual friends—the turtles :))
The first time you met her, you were incredibly intimidated.
Not because she was unfriendly or mean.
Quite the opposite, actually.
April carried herself with a confidence that seemed effortless. She walked into every room with her head held high, spoke with certainty, and always seemed to know exactly what she was doing.
Early on, she absolutely used that to her advantage.
She loved watching you get flustered.
The way you'd stumble over your words whenever she looked directly at you.
The way your face would heat up whenever she flashed you one of her confident smiles.
She thought it was adorable.
"You know," she'd say casually, leaning against a doorway, "you're really cute when you're nervous."
And just like that, she'd have you blushing all over again.
Once you started dating, April became incredibly protective of you.
Even when you were hanging out safely in the lair, she always seemed to keep one eye on you.
(Mostly because of Mikey)
Somehow, he always managed to turn a perfectly normal afternoon into a disaster waiting to happen.
Whether it was skateboards, pizza boxes, homemade inventions, or whatever random idea had popped into his head that day, April was always prepared to pull you out of the line of fire.
She's just as protective in public.
New York City is crowded on a good day.
During rush hour?
Nope! Forget it.
Whenever you found yourselves walking through packed sidewalks or busy intersections, April would immediately reach for your hand.
Not because she thought you couldn't handle yourself.
She just wanted to make sure she never lost sight of you.
She'd walk slightly ahead, weaving through the crowds while keeping a firm hold on your hand and clearing a path for you.
You never had to worry about getting separated.
April also loves touching you. (not in a freaky way LOL)
Not in an overly clingy way.
She just likes knowing you're there.
Holding your hand.
Resting a hand on your waist.
Linking arms while you're walking.
Sitting close enough that your shoulders touch.
If you're sitting beside each other at dinner, she'll absentmindedly trace little patterns against your leg while listening to a conversation.
Half the time she doesn't even realize she's doing it.
April would also have a bad habit of stealing your clothes.
Constantly, Hoodies, Sweaters, Jackets, and T-shirts.
If it's comfortable and belongs to you, it's basically hers now.
Since you'd known the turtles long before meeting April, they were already familiar with your wardrobe.
Which meant they noticed immediately when your relationship with her started to take off.
"Hey April," Mikey said one afternoon, pointing at her oversized hoodie.
"Isn't that Y/N's?"
April glanced down.
"Maybe."
"You've been wearing that thing for like three days."
"And?"
The smug smile on her face told everyone exactly what they needed to know.
Speaking of the turtles...
April always manages to find herself in trouble pretty often..
Part of it comes from her close relationship with them.
She likes being their eyes and ears during the daytime.
The other part comes from being a reporter.
She's always chasing stories.
Always following leads.
Always sticking her nose somewhere.
Dating her means receiving texts at the most concerning times imaginable.
"Don't be mad, but I may have followed a suspicious van."
"Before you freak out, everything is fine."
"Okay maybe don't read that last text."
Every time your phone lights up with her name after midnight, you prepare yourself for emotional damage.
April's camera roll is filled with pictures of you.
Hundreds of them.
Most of which you don't even know exist.
She isn't interested in perfect photos.
She prefers the candid ones.
The ones where you're focused on something and don't realize she's watching.
The ones where you're laughing so hard your face scrunches up.
The ones where you've fallen asleep on the couch.
More than once you've discovered her quietly taking a picture while she thought you weren't paying attention.
Despite how independent she is, April absolutely loves affection in private.
Lazy mornings tangled up under blankets.
Quiet movie nights spent curled against your side.
Falling asleep with your hand in hers.
Those moments mean more to her than she'll ever admit out loud.
Acts of service are one of her biggest love languages.
Had a rough night?
She'll show up at your apartment the next morning carrying coffee and breakfast.
Mention a restaurant you love?
Don't be surprised when your favorite meal randomly arrives at your door a week later.
Forgot something important?
Somehow April already remembered.
She pays attention to the little things.
The things most people overlook.
Collect pop tabs?
Congratulations.
Now April collects them too.
She'll keep them in her pockets, her purse, her desk drawer—anywhere she can stash them until she sees you again.
"Raph, are you done with your crush can?"
"Maybe. Why?"
"I want the pop tab."
"Whatever floats your boat, girl.
April is also night owl.
Between journalism and helping the turtles, she's almost always awake at ridiculous hours.
You could go to bed at midnight and wake up to six different TikToks she sent at three in the morning.
No explanation.
No context.
Just messages that read:
'Us.'
You open the video.
It's two pigeons arguing over a french fry.
Somehow, she's not wrong.
OVER ALL, April would be a very loving and tending partner who would always be there for you <33
Sure I do! I've only seen the first movie, so these are liable to change, but I did think they were similar to their 2012 versions, so some of my current ideas come from what I had for those boys, with some tweaking. These are all non-specific, and I tried to keep them as general character info. (Though I'm happy to do anything more specific!)
I hope my bias doesn't show
⊹︶︶⊹︶︶୨୧︶︶⊹︶︶⊹︶︶୨୧︶︶⊹︶︶⊹
Leo
He picks at stuff, like scabs or paint. Only in private. He hates he does it and wishes he could stop entirely
He doesn't always understand that the things he says to others can be interpreted in ways he didn't intend. He's always apologetic about it (but stands firm in his original statement)
Believes his way is the correct way
If you followed his advice and it went wrong, it was because of something you did
Conveniently "forgets" his phone. He just doesn't like dealing with it
No one else is supposed to go in his room. He's very private! It's definitely not because he has a nerd collection in there
He also has a small collection of horribly cheesy romance novels that no one can know about
He suffers minor headaches from built up stress and his brothers' antics. He's just learned to deal with them as they come rather than try to prevent them
Hot tea helps
He sleeps kinda like a vampire, straight on his back, arms folded across his chest
Speaking of, he's a light sleeper. Gotta always be on alert, after all
Raph
Has the tendency to take things to heart, so even a simple jest can set him off
Do not compare him to his brothers
"I'll pick it up later" and then actually does it
He forgets his own strength, which also means sometimes he can be a little too cautious around others
He has to play up this tough guy persona, which he doesn't mind at all, but away from everything he's really quite sweet
He's not a morning person
Can follow simple recipes, if alone in the kitchen
He joins Mikey in making crafts
Hate watches reality tv. All of it is so bad it's good
Sometimes he actually gets invested in the relationships and then gets sad when they don't work out like he wanted them to
Donnie
He has a system. Everything has its place, and he knows exactly where it is
From an outsiders perspective, it just looks like a cluttered cabinet or a miscellaneous pile of junk
Because of this, if you were to ever leave something of yours in his space, it will be moved
He won't be able to explain it in a way that makes any sense to you, so you might as well not ask
A common one, but caffeine addiction.
Specifically, he likes coffee but only when sweetened, none of that bitter crap. He loves a good energy drink, and he'll always take a soda, or two, or four-
Occasionally gets so preoccupied he skips meals, so snack foods become his lunch
This does not pair well with the caffeine
His time management is actually pretty bad
He keeps setting alarms for this or that but forgets to delete them, so randomly his phone will go off and he just presses ignore
His notes app is full of random numbers and letters, sentences with no context, and links that no longer work. He will not explain, that would take too long
Mikey
He loves seeing different body mods! They're a very cool and personal way of expressing yourself, so he always finds them very interesting
It's hard for him to turn the funny guy persona off, even if actively in a serious conversation. Whether it's a defense mechanism or not, who can really tell?
Your personal hype man
He loves takeout the way frat bros love takeout
He has many interests and hobbies, typically leaning more creative than anything else, because he'd rather be average at everything than only do one thing he's good at
Always touch starved
Has many different playlists dedicated to different moods and different people
Kareena (the 2nd oldest of the siblings) and Maya (the last one!)
• Kareena Kumar: “The queen of the family.”
At first glance, people see the celebrity: Miss Universe, an international model, an elegant woman who always seems in control.
But those who truly know her discover a deeply human woman!
Kareena is probably the most emotionally mature person in the family. She has that rare ability to listen without judging and to understand what others are feeling before they even realize it themselves. She is very protective of her younger siblings, but in a gentle way.
Where Jordan (another brother who will be introduced later!) would threaten someone for making his sisters cry, Kareena would simply walk into the room and make that person understand they had made a monumental mistake. She’s also probably the first to notice when something is wrong.
She’s the kind of person who could get along very well with someone like Splinter or Leo!
• Maya Kumar :“The sunshine of the family.”
If Jane is the moon and Kareena the sun...Maya is the star-light!!
She walks into a room, and the entire atmosphere changes!!
She talks fast, thinks fast, moves fast, and is incredibly curious… maybe even more than Jane!
She’s probably the child who resembles Aamir the most intellectually. (the family’s uncle to be introduced later!) and she loves asking a thousand questions in the minute.
And unfortunately for the boys, she’s not easy to stop once she gets going...
— “How does your mutant metabolism work?”, “Do you hibernate?”, “Raph, if you’re a cold-blooded reptile, why do you get angry so easily?”
To put it simply: she’s the Mikey of the Kumar family, with Donnie’s intelligence!
The three of them together form a vibrant trio: like all sisters, they argue, bicker, and tease each other. But when one of them is hurting, the other two are always there to comfort her, and don’t make the mistake of going after one of them 👀

How would the turtles be with a friend/ partner who is blind like completely blind
If we're talking Bayverse turtles, I think all four of them would adapt surprisingly quickly. They spend most of their lives navigating a world that wasn't built for them, so they're probably more aware than most people about accessibility and finding workarounds.
Leo 💙
Leo would be the most careful at first.
Not because he thinks you can't do things yourself, but because he'd be terrified of accidentally making your life harder. He'd spend a ridiculous amount of time asking permission before helping.
"Do you want an arm?"
"Do you need me to describe anything?"
"Would you like me to move that?"
The first few weeks of knowing you would basically be Leo learning where the line is between helpful and overprotective.
Once he gets comfortable, he'd become excellent at verbal descriptions.
If you're sitting on a rooftop watching a sunset with him, he'd quietly describe everything.
"The sky's orange near the horizon. Purple higher up. The clouds kinda look like brushstrokes."
Not in a pitying way—just because he wants to share experiences with you.
If someone assumes you're helpless because you're blind?
Leo is suddenly standing very, very close to them.
Raph ❤️
Raph's adjustment period would be hilarious.
The first time he forgets and points at something—
"Look at that—"
Silence.
"..."
"Raph."
"SHUT UP."
After that, he'd start catching himself.
Raph is naturally physical, so he'd probably become very aware of communicating through touch (with permission).
A hand on your shoulder to let you know he's nearby.
A tap on the table when he's setting something down.
Offering his arm whenever you're walking together.
He's also the turtle most likely to throw hands with someone being rude.
Some stranger talking to your companion instead of talking directly to you?
Raph's blood pressure just tripled.
"They're right there. Talk to them."
Donnie 💜
Donnie immediately enters Problem-Solving Mode.
Not because he sees blindness as something to "fix."
He's just a nerd.
You mention one accessibility issue and suddenly he's building technology.
A customized navigation app.
Audio labeling systems.
Modified phones.
Talking GPS.
Half the stuff probably doesn't even exist yet.
"Donnie, why is my cane connected to Bluetooth?"
"Because now it can identify obstacles at thirty feet."
"Why?"
"SCIENCE."
The thing that would matter most to him is making sure you have access to the same information everyone else does.
Movie night?
He's describing visual details.
New gadget?
He's explaining every feature.
Museum?
You're getting the most enthusiastic audio tour of your life.
Mikey 🧡
Mikey adjusts the fastest.
Not because he understands blindness better than the others.
Because he naturally communicates through words anyway.
Five minutes after meeting you, he's talking your ear off.
He's constantly narrating things without even realizing it.
"Okay so Donnie just made the weirdest face."
"Mikey."
"No, seriously, it looked like a constipated owl."
Mikey would be the best at making sure you're included without making a big deal out of it.
Everyone's looking at something?
Mikey automatically describes it.
A game has visual components?
He's figuring out adaptations.
Movie night?
He's whispering commentary.
Sometimes useful.
Sometimes not.
"That guy's definitely gonna betray them."
"Mikey, we've known him for three seconds."
"Trust me."
If You Were Their Partner ❤️
The biggest thing is that none of them would see your blindness as something that makes you less capable or less attractive.
They'd learn your routines.
Memorize what assistance you like and don't like.
Respect your independence.
And they'd absolutely roast anyone who talks down to you.
The funniest part is that eventually you'd start helping them just as much as they help you.
Because these are four giant mutant turtles trying to hide from society.
You'd be sitting there like:
"Leo, there's a police officer around the corner."
"How did you know?"
"His radio's loud."
"..."
"Also Raph is stomping like an elephant."
"HEY."
By that point, they'd stop thinking of you as "their blind friend" or "their blind partner."
You'd just be you.
The person who knows every one of their voices instantly, can identify them by their footsteps alone, and somehow always knows exactly which turtle just walked into the room before anyone says a word.

hello, how is everyone?? I had a nice holiday with my fiancée, we went to an all-in hotel, it was great. That week I caught a really bad cold, with the icing on the cake being a cold sore. :(
