I have a dream, a song to sing

Just wanting to put this out there, as I’ve (happily!) seen a few blogs who used to follow me on the Queen’s old blog are making their transition over here. Some might be wondering if the events that happened on the archived blog are canon and the answer is...

Kind of a yes and a no. In this new iteration, the events still happened, but more or less in an alternate timeline. With this blog, quite specifically the Queen and her people were affected by this change. 

But, in order to allow independence of other muns and their characters, I’m more than happy to allow free reign as to whether or not your own muses (if they’ve met the Queen previously) will remember the events that occurred with her. For the sake of fun and story, I’ll leave that up to individual muns to decide if their muses and their memories of events were effected. After all, the change was quite dramatic and required a lot of power, so there’s always room for folks to slip through the cracks.

The city she found herself in was, in short, simply amazing to the Queen. The lights, tall buildings that seemed almost to touch the clouds above, it was all so much to take in. She and Ravenel had been wandering all over, taking in the sights, talking to--albeit shocked and somewhat confused--citizens and asking possibly hundreds of questions.

By the end of the day, the little princess was absolutely exhausted, resulting in her mother carrying her up to their hotel room to sleep. However, the Queen herself found it difficult to simply sit still, finding herself marveling at how the city seemed to transform as soon as the sun had set. The neon lights rivaled the stars, and she found herself itching to explore further.

So, after a brief spell to ensure her daughter’s safety, the Queen vanished back into the streets of Neo Arcadia. It was then, perhaps, inevitable that she eventually found herself in front of a place called the Firefly Lounge. Having taken in so much already, she was more than delighted to step inside, and was immediately taken with the quaint atmosphere. Of course, she’d never been to a place such as this before, and perhaps stuck out a little bit, if the few curious glances her way was any indication.

Queen Greyface is back with a fresh new coat of paint and a fresh perspective on the multiverse, and she’s ready to answer questions and make new friends! If you’re a blog who’s interested in having a meeting with the Queen of Anons, feel free to like and reblog, and maybe she’ll pay you a visit.

“You sure caused a lot of trouble, didn’t you, Reul...?”

The figure sighed, staring at the massive sphere. Cracks littered the surface, sign that its inhabitant had long since left this plane of existence. Still, it might be useful, yet.

“This species has been babied for so long under your care, it’s causing trouble for the Core. Such a battered and confused queen can’t hope to raise such an unstable creation, but I suppose that’s why I’m here to clean up...”

She pulled out a small object, then, no bigger than a pebble, and focused all her mind on it. Just a portion of the true power of both entities, but it would be enough to undo what was needed. Remake the past, remove the stains. The Core would be forever with this Queen, now that she had taken it on before, but this time things would be different. This time, she could grow, become stronger, she and the people she led. Removed would be the people who had influenced before, from her and the minds of her kind, turning back the sands of time until everything was back to the beginning...

A kingdom underground would today see its Queen underneath the light of the sun for the first time in over a thousand years. The land around had grown on without her, but today with her daughter at her side, she would emerge in search of a new home.
