yeah i get that 100%! i havent listened to her music since the controversey because i still don’t really know where i personally stand. i want to wait to see what else comes out, so i might put my doja cat stan self on hiatus for a while. it might end up being a one direction style hiatus but what can u do,,

however, the evidence against her so far is pretty damning. at the end of the day, she was racist, regardless of motive. she’s a role model to so many people so i think that’s why it hits especially hard, but in my opinion she’s definitely in the wrong.

it’s been a mixture of things, nothing particularly flattering towards her. i would read everything quite carefully, i think in an era of cancel culture it’s super important to make sure you’re informed before you make your own judgement. x
