I had to log into my long abandoned Tumblr just so I could share this to say thank you to Punko for an incredible story! As this season is coming to an end I've felt both sad to say goodbye and excited to learn how their journeys will end. (Unless, of course, we get season 3 in which case sign me up for more antics!)
I originally set out to draw something totally different but I was really inspired by my ultimate hope for the characters: that Buddy will get the life he has been dreaming of with Chase. A life filled with quiet moments and laughter and growing old together as humans. Him explaining that giving up immortality would be worth it to live life with Chase was really beautiful and I hope that is where all of this craziness will lead them.
I've never loved a story the way I love Cinderella Boy. It's truly one of a kind and I hope Punko knows just how special it is. If this is the end, congratulations on a job well done! And if it isn't, I'm excited to see what's next 🩷
