What do you think about TXT and how do you think bts are feeling right now?
You really had to go there anon, didnāt you? Honestly Iām still trying to take in all of this.
I have no feelings about TXT at the moment. Iāll probably wonāt go out of my way to check them out either. I wish them luck and hope they will survive in the industry because letās face it - itās going to be hard.
The reason I got into BTS was because they managed to catchĀ my attention, namely JM - with his charisma, presence, dancing, voice, everything. Iām not one to get invested easily because I donāt have much energy to be honest, so I try to pick wisely the things I spend my time on.
WARNING/heads up: this is just my opinion, you are welcome to disagree, but if you have something to say/ask - do so respectfully.
Regarding bangtan.. I canāt really tell you how they are feeling because I donāt know them personally obviously, but for the sake of answering your question, itās most likely they could be having mixed feelings.
On one hand, as the only active group and the face of BH so to speak up until now, unlike other companies who usually have multiple groups at a time to shine, itās probably a good thing on this front:Ā
It means less pressure on them, less eyes on them as the attention will be somewhat divided between them and the new boy group.
It also means they can invest in their solo careers, assuming BH is on board with that (I will go into that later).
They will have a little brother group, and that will maybe make them feel less alone on events.
On the other hand, it could also be.. Sad, bittersweet even.Ā Why? Well, BTS poured their heart, body and soul into this group, thus, in BH. Their hard work is what made BH into this big company it is today. And yet.. Well if youāve seen my other posts about BH, you would know there are many things I find flawed in the way they handle their artists, in this case, BTS.
I had a bad feeling since the end of 2017, as both the quality and the condition of the members just seemed.. Very off. It was sad to know my hunch was indeed right, confirmed by the members at the MAMA 2018 speech.Ā
Itās actually mind boggling to see how most of the fandom twisted what Jin said about them wanting to disband, and made it about ARMY instead of what it really was about - them.
They obviously had a very hard time if they reached that point, and we donāt even know the half of what they went through. Thatās why the news of them signing a 7 year contract with BH didnāt sit well with me. I just hope they made the right decision and improved their conditions & rights at least.
I knew most of the money will go towards the nbg after seeing some of the downgrade in management and quality that was happening to bangtan, but I have to say Iām very disappointed (yet not surprised) in BH & fandom.
BH had something so good on their hands, they basically had the winning lottery ticket but Bang Pd just let it slip out of his hands in favor of instant gratification. So much talent wasted. It seems BH were lost on what to do when they reached new levels of popularity. They could have done so much more with them if they focused on quality instead of quantity.
And the fandom.. well. The list is long but right now itās amazing how some are so quick toĀ āstanā the new group before even hearing their music and knowing the message they have to deliver. (Un)Surprisingly itās the same people who used to shame other K-pop fans/multi fandoms for doing the same thing, claiming they will beĀ āarmyā forever..Ā

Like YG said in their festa dinner - āIām scared of falling, but not landingā.
