Hugo is a very seasoned young criminal with an impressive track record, so of course he's kind of full of himself about it. This means snide comments like "heh, this is nothing. You should have seen the heist I pulled on this Count a couple years ago." "Compared to some of the stuff I've seen before, this is nothing." "The day I get serious is the day you should be worried." He knows he sounds try-hard and cringey, but he's doing it for the bit, okay? Anything to annoy these guys and keep his emotional distance.

Meanwhile Varian is rolling his eyes and looking into the camera like "get a load of this guy." Every once in a while after a particularly silly one he'll just laugh like that one Leonardo DiCaprio meme with the wine. (I will draw that at some point, trust.)

Anywayssss after Hugo finds out Varian is the literal Alchemist of Old Corona he's so embarrassed. He can barely look Varian in the eyes (which Varian interprets as disgust but thats a whole other can of worms lol) because he thought he was the most worldly one here!! Between a wet-behind-the-ears kid, a literal princess, and the Royal Engineer of Corona— he was supposed to be the cool criminal!!!

Especially because Hugo heard of him as a teenager, and had cute little fantasies about what he would be like if they met. No, he did not have a celebrity crush, what are you talking about. But ultimately, I think it's something that would give them a better understanding of eachother. No Varian wasn't some spoiled noble kid, and no Hugo doesn't think any less of him for his past.

—because the normal thing to do would be to approach lewis after qualifying and go "you don't believe that i did it on purpose, do you?" except that nico's relationship to lewis is thoroughly enmeshed with his own self-image. so he wants the public statement, the disavowal of the theory in front of everyone. he could also just come right out and have the conversation directly in front of the cameras, though. but instead, he has to ask for confirmation in this strange, abstracted way, one step short of putting on a costume: "lewis, do you think nico blocked you?" instead of "do you think i blocked you?"

and then the best part is that lewis plays the game—just not at all how nico wants him to. he runs with the reporter schtick, but he gives a very teasing, pr-evasive answer: whether because he misreads the tone of the question, or (and maybe more likely) because he makes a choice not to engage past the surface-level farce nico is putting on. and then nico's reaction—"that's not funny"—because despite the absurdity of the situation, it's not a joke to him. the reporter premise may be objectively ridiculous, but it's not (as lewis makes it) an angle for a laugh.

Multiple animation YouTubers have been hit with demonetization after being mistakenly flagged as either “generated with AI” or “exclusively for children.”

We have go over those effected, but this is not a exhaustive list, just what we have gathered so far

rebel taxi

Rebel taxi received a email from YouTube about how their channel didn’t line up with their “YouTube partner Program policies ” and will not have monetization

The exact policies that were broken were never mentioned in the email, but rebel did figure out what it was

Apparently it was because they talks about old cartoons and YouTube thought that meant that those videos were meant for kids

YouTube responded to a tweet that pizza made about this and told them to basically submit a appeal and wait up 14 days

They eventually got their monetization back, but never received a apology or an explanation on what happened

YouTube just sorta threw it back at em

They had the same thing happen to them

Out of nowhere, YouTube revoked their ability to make any sort of money for the same reason of “misleading family content”

Than the same thing as before happened

Their monetization was put back, for no real reason at all

They believe YouTube is trying to sweep their mistakes under the rug and hope people forget about it

A lot more have been hit with YouTube’s AI system, with a lot of them being related to animation in some sort of way

Most of these cases say that these YouTubers violated the "Misleading Family Content." Policy, even though none of them did
